Very interesting. What's the power consumption at idle? Preferably with HDD sleeping to make it more comparable.

I cannot seem to get my system to go past C3, its spec;

Ive tried many suggestions on this thread, the powertop auto-tune runs and all tunables report as "good" I even swapped out my PCIE sata card for an ASM1166 card and no change, system uses 50w as a bare minimum with all drives spun down, and most times its around 130w, was hoping to do better than that, any suggestions?
Check BIOS Settings to ensure C levels are properly set up and that clock and vcore do indeed go down at low loads.
I have a very similar processor (4770k with OC at 4.00Ghz) and found that in my case, an option on my gigabyte motherboard (CPU VRIN Loadline Calibration set to Extreme) was preventing the board from lowering the vcore at low loads.
Changed this setting to standard and updated the PSU; reducing power draw from ~50w to ~35w with only the ssd spinning (power consumption as reported by the UPS).
For the quadro check a video by spaceinvader to help reduce power consumption at idle.

Not directly. You can play with the age of the file and the % to get something similar, but not exactly what you want. Read the last pages as it has been discussed.

Hello,
Thanks for the amazing plug-in. It adds some really useful stuff!
Is there any way to exclude a specific folder from the mover? Currently I see the option to ignore files based on size, text file, file type, but I don't know if there is any way to exclude a folder.
Thanks!
EDIT: Nevermind, found a solution on page 36.

Hi all,
Very interesting thread. Looking for a new power supply to replace my TX650 Bronze from 2013. However, the Corsair RM550X is nearly out of stock in all reliable manufacturers in my country and extremely expensive +150€. On the first post it lists the BeQuiet Pure Power 11 FM 550W as an alternative (priced at around 89€ so more reasonable). However, it seems that the new version PURE POWER 12 M 550W has come out, although I am not able to find any review that tests low loads.
So my question is, what are the alternatives to the Corsair RM550X? Still the Be Quiet as the first post says?
Thanks

According to the File Activity plug-in, qBittorrent is opening files (even though nothing is being transferred ATM) and paperless is modifying the database (even though no one is doing anything with it).

Hello again,
A couple days have passed and two of my drives (the same ones) still won't spin down. Anything else that might be affecting it?
Edited: it happens even with the VM turned off. If I force the sleep from the webUI it only lasts ~5s before those drives are up again.

But in this case I don’t want to move the full share (as it’s bigger than the cache), only a subfolder. Is this possible?
Thanks!

Great! I’ll let you know.
I’d like to move some files from the array to the cache (downloads_cache in my case) so that the array can indeed spin off (recently downloaded files are active).
I suppose that I can rsync from /user/mnt… but I’m unsure about the destination.

Hello,
Two of my drives won't spin down since a few weeks ago. One is the parity so I guess the culprit is the other one.
I have checked the active streams plug-in and no active stream is reported.
Can you please help the troubleshoot?
Thanks!

Hello,
I am trying to share a couple of seasons of a tv show to a friend. The issue is his internet is quite slow so direct stream is not an option. I've tried sharing a link with nextcloud (via swag reverse proxy), but his internet sometimes drops off and the download stops. He is currently trying to download each chapter individually, praying that the connection is good enough to finish.
Changing the internet provider is not an option as he is currently renting.
My question is, is there any option better than nextcloud to send the files? Ideally one that is able to resume downloads is something happens. I guess SMB would have the same issue...
Best,

Any other docker running on the same ports?

Hi,
I'm trying to add a password to the Redis container. I've read the instructions on the first page of the thread, but I dont know how to proceed. I've tried going to the edit page and adding a new variable and giving it the redis-server --requirepassword name, but it does not work. What am I doing wrong?

Another question. I'd like to add a controller that is not on my network. I've seen this official manual (link) but I was wondering, when it says: "Take a laptop to the device's site to perform adoption via Chrome browser (easiest method)", how would I do that using this docker? Would I need to make the controller available via a reverse proxy, can I use a VPN, or is there any other recommended alternative?
Thanks in advance

Noob question. How do you specify the tag? I'm searching on google but no luck.
Thanks!

Hi,
I've tried to reboot the server and it's stuck at trying to remove a remote share (which is not online, the server is powered off). How can I proceed? Docker was turned off before attempting to shut down.
Thanks!

Hi,
Is the container still in development? I see on the community apps info that it was last updated on 2021.
Thanks

I’m on 6.10-rc2, but I’ll update when I have some free time and check if it still happens.
Thanks!

Hi,
I’ve tried searching online but had no luck.
I am trying to add a file to Nextcloud by linking it from another unRAID share. I’ve successfully created the link to the file inside the Nextcloud share using Krusader, and then updated the Nextcloud database, but the file is not on the folder where it is supposed to be. Is there any way to do this?
thanks

OK, I dug up some of your old diagnostics and it looks like these are separate, single disk pools. Might have been better to make them XFS if you don't plan to have multidisk pool.
How should I do that? Or is it too late?

If you take a look at this post you'll see the most-recommended power supplies for low loads. Spoiler alert, you either go to a Corsair RM550x, a BeQuiet Pure Power 12 FM 550W or a PicoPSU (for the highest efficiencies). Even premium PSUs (gold or platinum ratings) can have very low loads efficiency as the advertised efficiency is measured at a minimum load of 20% (which for a typical 550W PSU is way higher than what the system will typically idle at).
