I went from 10 drives to 18 drives, most of the new drives (2tb & 3tb) are used, pulled from one of my colo servers (got 5tb drives in the servers now). Yet 4 of them are not showing up... I have checked the bays and one of the new.used drives that does show up works in all the hot swap bays....
I did notice this but I am not sure its related

One of the drives is giving me errors but until the preclear is done I am not going to remove it

I have had to move all my storage drive out of my desktop and to the new unraid server as I have run our of space and need more. Most of this is archive info and does not need to be fast. I have suck a 500 gb SSD in as cache to help with speed if I need it. I have two 10gb nics (SPF+) and I would like to run them between the unraid and my desktop.
How would I best go about adding it to the unraid?

3 Days ago I decided to build an unraid server using a Dell Optiplex 990 (i5-2400, 16 gb DDR3 1600, 750 Watt PSU)
Drives are:
2x 2tb WD Green
1x 5tb Toshiba 7200 RPM
1x 2tb Toshiba 7200 RPM
1x 120 GB SSD
Config:
Pulled Dell MB, and put it in a Antec Three Hundred Two.
The unraid server was working fine, I installed the Supermirco AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 and booted the server. The card boots up and sees the drives but when it goes to boot off the pen drive I get a black screen with a blinking cursor. I rebooted the server and reset the BOIS options to default and only changed the ones that I would be needing. I am still getting the black screen with the black cursor.
I would love to fix this so I can get my server running again

I have a ASRock X58 EXTREME6 LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard, core i3, 2 gb ram. I was thinking that a port multiplier is cheaper then a raid card, I don't really care about speed.

I am trying to transfer 883.5 GB from one computer to my UnRaid server.
The issue I am having is the transfer rate is 5 KB/s... Any ideas on how to find out the issue/s

I would like to have a Folder that spans all the available drives.....
-
I just built my UnRaid server:
Core 2 Duo 2.66
Msi Motherboard (8 Sata Ports (parity drive plugged in here)
4 Gb Ram
2x Ataptech Raid Cards ( 4 ports each )
15x 500 Gb Hard Drives
1x 1 TB Hard Drive
10/100/1000 Network Card
Unraid Server Pro V 4.5
The question, when I access the network share I see 15 folders, I would like to have one folder that stores everything. Please tell me how i can do that.

My old system's cashe drive bit the dust and the whole unraid is not working
So building a new system
I had 7 drives in unraid, USB boots just fine (New Drives)
Add in the rest of the drive to my system 24 in total and it will no longer boot from the usb drive. (14 drives from the old system)
Things I have done
Server is a
SuperChassis 846EL1-R900B (SAS2) with a X8DTE-F MB
16 intel cores
12 gb ram
LSI SAS 9211-8i
750 Watt Corsair TX750M
The system keeping saying to insert boot media or retry....
I could really use some help to keep me from loosing my mind..... Please and Thank You
