  1. Thank you very much for the response, I realize how basic the question is but hey gotta start somewhere. I’m in now and off to the races. I had heard this community is very positive, and am already glad to be here.
  2. Hello everyone. I am very new to unraid and I have made a catastrophic error while trying to access my server. A friend helped me by doing the initial setup last year. It booted to a VM and all the drives had green lights, things were looking good. However, I mothballed the server for a year and could not figure out how to log back in. I made a rash decision and formatted the original boot USB without making any backups. Now when I start the server it runs through a bunch of commands, then prompts for a Tower login. I tell it "root" and I get "root@Tower:~#". No idea where to go from there. When I boot in GUI mode I just get a blank black screen with a blinking cursor. Any help at all would be humbly appreciated, and thank you.
