  1. Hello, Been poking around the forums reading other peoples challenges with booting a VM via PXE but still no luck booting from the network. Tried changing the forwarding delay (brctl setfd br0.VID# 4.0) on all the bridges, NIC type, with and without vlans. Doing a packet capture we see the VM do a DHCP request, it receives an acknowledgment that comes along with an IP assignment, and the other expected DHPC options including our next-host with a path. We then see the VM download the pxe kernel from the tftp server (next-host). After the transfer is complete the VM moves onto the next boot option set, or fails (if none are defined) silently. No error is reported and no further network activity is observed originating from the VM. FWIW our dhcp/tftp/pxe infra has been servicing physical, vCenter/ESX and proxmox VMs on our network for years. Everything on them has been working as expected (knock on wood). Wondering if you have any suggestions or are aware of any known issues which may be related. Thanks, -greg
  2. I'd like to see a smoother method to invoke PXE boot option on VMs as well.
