added additional nvme drive now sata array blowing up with udma crc error count
I'm embarrassed to report back that it may have been a loose sata cable. One of the drives (parity2) reached 22,831 udma crc errors and Unraid failed the drive. I went to inspect the cable on that drive and it looked a bit loose. I'm about 12 hours in a parity check and it's been fine.

added additional nvme drive now sata array blowing up with udma crc error count
I just added an additional 2tb nvme WD Black SN850X to my machine and now my sata array is blowing up with "udma crc error count". I've spent the last 4 days replacing my four 4tb drives with new 12tb drives. Each drive took about 24 hours to finish parity, not a single "udma crc error" appeared. Then I added the new nvme and now i'm getting email alerts. I've read through the posts about "udma crc error count" and they all point to a faulty cable. But i just started getting the error on 4/8 of my drives after adding the nvme and running a parity check. How can a faulty cable affect 4 drives? I've had this machine running for 2.5 years without an issue. Ryzen 5950x on X570 mobo: 1. 12tb - parity1 2. 12tb - parity2 <---- udma crc error count 10011 3. 4tb - disk1 4. 4tb - disk2 <---- udma crc error count 1 5. 4tb - disk3 <---- udma crc error count 1 6. 12tb - disk5 <---- udma crc error count 1 7. 12tb - disk6 8. 4tb - mounted disk nvme1: 2tb samsung 980 pro - cache nvme2: 2tb wd black sn850x - media_cache <---- new drive Could a bad cable on the parity2 drive cause crc errors on the other 3 data disks? My bios is from 2021. Is it possible the new NVME drive is causing compatibility problems and maybe if i update the bios it will help? I can remove the new NVME drive and test again. Wanted to see if i'm missing anything?

24-Bay ITX Server in 16L case (SSD-only)
Wouldn't you eventually need to TRIM the ssd's eventually, when the drives start to slow down?

Is it safe to upgrade 1/2 parity drive + 1 data drive at the same time?
I currently want to upgrade 2 of my drives to larger 12tb (parity and data drive). Instead of replacing one drive at a time and letting parity rebuild twice, would it be safe to replace 2 drives at the same time because I have 2 parity drives? Current Array: 1. 4TB Parity1 -> upgrade to 12tb 2. 12TB Parity2 3. 4TB data1 4. 4TB data2 5. 4TB data3 6. 2TB data4 7. 2TB data5 -> upgrade to 12tb
