I deleted the portions completely and got to set the file system to btrfs , I got the format button , hot format and it failed to format and the drive disappeared , I had to get over the same steps again and when I hit format , it came back complete but actually did not format. Restating the unit the drive came up as unmountable again

Hi all I am trying ot add a WD Black NVME drive as a cache drive and getting a weirdd issue . I was using this drive in a USB3 case for a little while and thought i would whack into the HP Gen 8 as a cachee drive, before putting it in to the Gen i deleted the partition in Winddows , created the partition but did not format, i then put the drive in a NMVE to PCIE adaptor and ran it in Unraid. The drive recongnizes but fails Preclear, if i assign to the cache pool and start the array the FS is showing as auto and i cannot seen to change it anywhere. I am unable ot format or mount the drive, i have attached the log for the drive itself Edit: looking at the settings for the cache pool the drive's Partion Format is unknown log.txt

Hello all, I would first like to say i love the site, i was wondering if any of you kind people could help a newbie get off the ground. I am currently doing the 30 day trial looking at replacing Xpenology with unraid (looks like heaps more flexibility and supported better). I have installed Unraid on my spare G8 microserver with just one drive for testing and have a question for people that might be running the G8 as well. I installed yesterday and had the system running for about 8 hours without a restart. everything was running really well. This morning i deside to put the USB thumb drive on the internal USB port rrather than the front port i originally had it on. Everything rebooted with no issues but now the internal fan ramps up every few miuntes for around 1.5 minutes then then back to normal. i have checked the BIOS settings and I have AHCI mode enabled, i was not sure what C-State to bein (I know with Xpenology you disable C1E) mine is C6 at the moment again not sure is that is correct. Any help would be much appreciated`
