    I have the same problem, mysql start's up, and cannot be accessed. with its original pwd (mysql_password), or my given password. root cannot connect from local or other machine on the network. Access denied. Even with the workbench installen on the server. Its like after setup its lock it self down. ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES) root@6ffb67a976cc:/#
