  1. Having done more research and planning I’m getting ready to start my unraid journey. I plan to use raidz3 and 10 disk for the pool. I plan to incrementally increase the size to 16tb disk. Obviously the cost will be huge to get there. It’s my understanding I am limited in capacity to the smallest disk. So for argument sake if I have (3) 16TB and (7) 1TB disk I’d be at 7TB total space until upgrade the rest to 16TB. And once fully upgraded (10) 16TB drives would yield 112TB of space. Is my l understanding correct?
  2. I'm looking at jumping into this NAS world. I think that RAID 6 is where I want to go (RAID 0 has already saved me at least twice in my professional life). So if I go that route can you expand beyond the minimum 4 drives later? If so, I'd assume my 2 parity drives are what limits the size of future drives. Thanks in advance.
