  1. awesome thank you so much Kilrah. Much appreciated! I know I would probably be better off running a flavor of linux and docker, but the gui and everything of unraid (and community) is just to good to pass up. again, thank you!
  2. Do you have any adblockers installed? I would disable those. Brave browser is horrible for randomly doing weird crap, not sure if that is the browser you are using.
  3. So I have bad luck with traditional drives, just had two wd shucked 8 tb red drives go bad that were only a few years old. Could I just create a SSD and NVME pool, and just have the mover run manually as to not use those mechanical drives other than to backup the data on those two pools? Would those drives keep spinning when the mover is finished or will unraid spin those down?
  4. First I want to apologize, I found a few similar threads but none really helped. TLDR: I have FiOptics, 1g x 1g internet. I am using 2 wan ports on my router with technically two connections I have 2 lans configured on my router 192.168.1.0/24 (I only want to use this for internet connection for unraid) 192.168.2.0/24 (internal LAN for computers, devices, and the unraid server uplinks via 10g to the 10g switch on this subnet so my computers on this lan can backup, access plex without transcode etc..) So the main problem is, i am not sure how to configure the connections on unraid to only use the public ip / 1g network for internet access and then only use 192.168.1.x network for lan activity. Also, it appears when i setup /enable both connections my DNS doesn't work anymore, even with hardcoding 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 (or googles 8.8.8.8). But if I disable one of those nics the custom DNS works fine. Here is a diagram of my network how i want it. Sorry if this is a open ended question Lan with Metrics.pdf
