Hi, Thank for help. I have updated first to 6.12.15 and rebuild went well. It took 16 hours to finish.

Smart test finished without errors. I will wait now for new cable and then I will start "Rebuilding a drive onto itself" but to be honest I am scared. If rebuilt will go wrong what can happen? Can I loose data from disabled Disk5 or entire array can be messed up and I will loose all data? What can go wrong?

Hi, I did not think about that. I should save logs first before I turn off computer. Smart test almost finished. 90%. New cable is ordered. I will come back later.

Hi, I have similar problem. Server was running as a normal when I decided to clean up hdd a little. First unusual thing happened when I deleted 2 files 2 .fuse_hidden[nnnnn...] files being created. It happened to me first time. It was impossible to delete them via samba share so I used console to do it with success (1 was on disk4 and 1 on cache SSD). After that I started copying files between folders (from CACHE SSD to Disk5). Everything looked fine. Then I looked on WebGUI and I noticed Disk 5 is disabled. contents emulated. It happened to me first time as well. All disks been green before I started working on files. When copying was finished I shutdown server and turn in back again. Disk5 still disabled so I shutdown system again I disconnected sata cables from all disk (2x (SAS to 4xSATA)) (I did not know which is which). I turn system back on and Disk5 still disabled and also I started getting CRC errors on my VMS SSD disk (pool device. not the one mentioned above) which I use only for appdata and VMS (vms are bearly used). CRC Error count is around 230 now on this disk. So I shutdown the system I played a little with cables and start the system again. CRC errors are not increasing now. Disk5 is still disabled. VMS SSD is only 2-3 years old and had few CRC errors before reported like 1-2 years ago. Disk5 is showing 4 CRC Errors now. What I should to do next? I started extended smart test on Disk5. It is running 1hour and stuck on 10%. I will leave it just now. Disk5 is RED WD disk but it was empty for long time. Unraid started using it just maybe a week ago when another disk become full. Should I order new cables? Disk5 and VMS SSD are on the same SAS cable. I want to start "Rebuilding a drive onto itself" but I will wait for smart test first. Hi, Can someone recommend a 2.5Gbps or faster network usb adapter which will work correctly with the newest version of unraid. My current 2.5Gbps adapter with realtek drivers is crushing the system. Without drivers is not working.

Hi @JorgeB If I remember correctly I had USB NIC connected with drivers installed (it is working but is not stable and crashes system randomly). Then I removed driver. Reboot. No access to server. Turn off server. That should be in prevoius syslog. Then I changed USB port. Turn on server. No access. Disconnect network cable from USB Adapter and connect to internal NIC. That should be visible in current syslog. zion-diagnostics-20240827-1100.zip

Server is build on my old micro itx motherboard with only 1 pci slot which is taken by hdd controller. I can only use USB model to upgrade network speed.

Without the realtek driver I lost completely connection. NIC is not working without it. Switch to onboard NIC helped I am online again. Crashes are gone as well but I am back to 1Gbps NIC.

Hi. I have attached the file. I noticed when Docker Containers are disabled system is not crashing. I was turning dockers on one by one and when I started Deluge, after few minutes system crashed. Maybe that has any connection with USB network card (Bus 004 Device 002 Port 4-1 ID 0bda:8156 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. USB 10/100/1G/2.5G LAN). I did upgrade from 6.12.6. Hi, After upgrade to version 6.12.11 my unraid crashes all the time. Running time is random but usually after few minutes crashes and I need to hard shutdown. I do not have clue how to fix it. I even do not know where to start and how to troubleshoot. Can someone help please?

Hi, My on board network card doesn't support wake on lan on unraid so I bought USB Network Adapter 2.5Gbp (no pci slots available on motherboard) and I still cant wake up my machine. In bios I have enabled resume by PCI-E devices. Do I need to enable resume by USB as well? If I turn off Unraid the leds on adapter are off. There must be no power. If I use this above command "echo -n mem > /sys/power/state" leds are on but I cant wake up machine any way.

Hi, I am new here and I do not have experience with Linux at all. I build my NAS using my old Windows 10 PC and I noticed under Unraid WOL is not working. Under Windows 10 WOL was working fine. I did research and I found this NIC has a bug and WOL is disabled. Is any way to enable WOL support? If I use this function and create share. Under windows I can see this share and folders but I cant do anything else. No access to folders. There is no option to setup any credentials.
