I got it. I was missing one configuration. My system only has the one gpu. I forgot to add the configuration that forced unraid to boot without gpu. Once I put this setting in, everything worked. I understand why this setting is required. What I don't understand is why not having this setting was causing the vm on the network to crash.

So I walked away from it for a few days hoping a solution would come to me. Not so much. Every time I attach the GPU to the VM the network drops out. Period. I have statically assigned the IP in the VM. I am using PiHole as an DHCP server and reserved the IP in PiHole. My UDM Pro see the VM on the network with the correctly assigned PiHole IP address. The closest I got was when I added the VNC GPU as the primary and the Asus card as secondary, I can get to the windows login screen and login - right before the VM crashes and I get "Select your keyboard layout" and then "troubleshoot your pc". I start the ping to test the network just before starting the VM and this is what it looks like with VNC as the primary GPU and Asus GPU as the secondary: The VM shows this log output of cat /proc/iomem Its really a bummer unraid doesnt have a web browser based method to access the VM when the network isnt working to troubleshoot, similar to vsphere. It would be nice to know if the VM is somehow getting a different IP address when it starts up or look at the windows logs from the inside. Im going to remove the IP reservations in pihole and clear the static address in the vm, see if something different shows up in my network other than the expected address. Im truly lost at this point, and searching around isnt really offering me any real clue as to what is going on.

unraid v 6.10.3 First, thank you all. I have been crawling these forums for weeks now. New to unraid. Hardware: AMD Rycen 5900X MSI X570 Edge Max WifiMB 64GB RAM Asus geforce RTX TUF gaming OC 12GB GPU EVGA 1300 G+ Supernova Today I installed Win 10 as a VM, closely following spaceinvader one's videos. When I got to the sections of setting up my nVidia GPU, this is where I hang, and I cannot find an answer to what I am experiencing. When the VM GPU is configured VNC, I have absolutely no issues. I can connect to the VM all day long. When I change the GPU to the nVidia GPU, set the vbios to the bios I downloaded following Spaceinvader one's vbios download script, and assigning the matching sound card on the GPU...i get no where. Cannot ping the VM. The network does not come up, at all. I confirmed this by running a ping -t from my laptop to the VM after switching back to VNC GPU, removing the sound card, etc. I can load the VM in VNC, but the continuous ping fails until I login to the VM, and only after I login is the ping successful. It looks like, to me, that when I change the GPU, the network fails. I have no idea what is happening and any help is appreciated. Diagnostics attached.
