  1. Why not...? It does actually work, I put in a couple of /24's that seem to cover my PIA VPN's IP ranges for my region so when I'm remote as long as I'm connected to the PIA VPN (in the same region of course, I don't have all of the PIA VPN regional IPs allowed) I can actually connect to the Deluge WebUI. If I leave this value unconfigured (or just put my actual LAN IP subnet in) I cannot access Deluge when outside of my LAN. It didn't work anyways... I already have the Deluge WebUI port forwarded - I assume the VPN is not 'split-tunnel' and the Deluge WebUI and daemon both route their traffic through the VPN tunnel - which means I won't be able to access the Deluge WebUI with my ISP's IP address. Port forwarding works for my other docker containers (IE NzbGet, Medusa, etc) - so that's why I assume the VPN in this DelugeVPN docker container is not having the traffic split properly or at all?
  2. I've read that before, the way the answer is written (and the config) makes me think this is only for LAN networks? Not WAN? As mentioned, I want to connect to Deluge from an external network - IE from a friends house, a hotel, etc. So in testing, I just threw my current WAN IP in that 'LAN_NETWORK=' variable and it worked! This is not really scalable unfortunately, but I suppose it is a valid workaround. Is there any other way to open the Deluge WebUI to the entire internet? Setting LAN_NETWORK to 0.0.0.0 or 0.0.0.0/0 did not work...
  3. Hello, Is it possible to connect to the Deluge WebUI from an external network? I can connect to my other containers when on an external network, but Deluge I have to be on my LAN in order to connect to the WebUI. I know the VPN can mess things up, is this container setup to be 'split-tunnel' so the VPN is used for the Deluge daemon and the non-VPN network interface used for the Deluge WebUI? Thanks!
  4. @binhex hate to tag you directly but I am still struggling to access the Deluge webUI remotely. Is the VPN setup for split-tunnel so the webUI can operate on my local IP and the Deluge daemon can operate on the VPN IP? Seems like not - is there a way to set this up? Also, as I have asked and @Dschnell89 - is there a way to configure the Deluge GTK client? I have tried to set this up while on my LAN and have failed. The webUI works fine on the LAN - ideally I'd like to be able to access both remotely, but some remote access (whether via the client or webUI) is really needed! Thanks!!
  5. Next question, can I setup a local Deluge client to connect to this Deluge server...? https://dev.deluge-torrent.org/wiki/UserGuide/ThinClient I've done the setup above but I still cannot connect with a Deluge client (same LAN, this is separate from the WAN issue above with the webUI :))
  6. Apologies but this does not apply to me - this is if I had multiple subnets on my LAN. I can access Deluge webUI from my LAN just fine. It's only accessing the Deluge webUI from the internet or WAN that I have problems. I've asked about if the VPN is setup as a 'split-tunnel' - seems it is not? Where the Deluge daemon is run through the VPN and the Deluge webUI is run outside of the VPN so the webUI can be accessed like any other service running on the server - using the same public IP as the server itself.
  7. Are you having issues accessing the webUI for Deluge on your local network or from the internet? I can access the Deluge webUI from my LAN, but from other locations I am not able to access the Deluge webUI - other services I have running are accessible from remote locations, so I'm wondering if the VPN is not setup to be 'split-tunnel' - that is, VPN tunnel for the Deluge daemon, and no VPN tunnel for the Deluge webUI...
  8. Hello, Perhaps I am not remembering correctly, but I thought I could access the Deluge webUI outside my LAN when I first set this up (I cannot currently at least) - is the VPN setup to run 'split-tunnel' so the Deluge daemon runs under the VPN but the Deluge webUI runs without the VPN...? Or are all services in the docker container running under the VPN? I couldn't find any mention of split tunnel in the guides / FAQs so that makes me think that everything is running under the VPN - any solutions to access the webUI when not on the LAN? Thanks!
  9. Per the FAQ, your VPN is not connecting.
  10. This is just a huge THANK YOU post to @binhex - I have been using Deluge in a VM with my own OpenVPN config for PIA. It was a PITA, always breaking down, occasionally leaking my IP causing DMCA notices from my ISP, just all around crap setup. I have docker containers for basically everything else, but recently stumbled onto this project - it's EXACTLY what I've been needing!!! I fumbled a bit with the setup, but your FAQ's and guides are ridiculously thorough - pretty much every issue / question (and a lot more) I had were found in the FAQ's and documentation. Hats off to you my friend, I will send you some beer money today!
