[Support] binhex - Plex Pass
I found the solution, for anyone having this issue ... Plex does not play the stream. Plex DVR is not compatible with all streaming formats, most problems are incompatible audio codecs. In this case it helps to use FFmpeg as a buffer and changed FFmpeg parameters. xTeVe Settings -> Stream Buffer = FFmpeg FFmpeg Options: -hide_banner -loglevel error -i -c:a libmp3lame -vcodec copy -f mpegts pipe:1

[Support] binhex - Plex Pass
Hi, I am stumped with “Error code: s1001 (Network)” Everything seems to come up as intended but when I try to click on a live channel I get “Error code: s1001 (Network)”. Streaming stock Plex channels works correctly without error, is just with live TV that the error arises. I have tried just about anything I found in the internet but still I am stuck with the same error, I went as far as installing Jellyfin in case it was something in Unraid itself but I follow the same configuration as in Plex and everything worked with in Jellyfin on the first try. I am unsure where the break is or where should I be looking, I see 4 different logs … Plex Tuner Service.log Plex Transcoder Statistics.log Plex Media Server.log Plex Media Scanner.log I look at all of them, I am guessing if I was to find an error I would see it in “Plex Media Server.log” but I look through it the only things I see out of the ordinary is a couple of warnings … -WARN - [CERT] TLS connection -DEBUG - CERT: incomplete TLS handshake Then again I am at a lost, I am unsure what should I be looking for. Anyhow I hope you can advise, thank you!

Fully uninstall Plex
I install Plex and I got things all messed up learning how to get it going with xTeve, once I got a better hold on what I wanted to do I did uninstall Plex to start from scratch. I did remove the docker container from the docker tab and deleted the user\appdata\Plex-Media-Server folder, I thought that is all I need it to delete however, once I re-install plex and I got to the WebUI it does go through the new setup but I can still see what I guess are remnants from the old install, I see the library movies listed twice with a yellow triangle exclamation point next to it. Also on the home screen if I click More> the first icon with the “head” that says Plex has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point too. Anyone knows how to make a full removal of Plex in Unraid? I feel I am still leaving stuff behind that the new installation is picking up. Thanks!

Cache drive disappear after re-boot
I have scour everywhere for a solution the closest thing I can deduct is that it has to do with the new power supply. The power supply I was using before was probably a 10+ years old that was noisy compared with this new one "Corsiar RM750e". For what I can find some people have issues with the 3.3v in the SATA power plug, they have to disable pin 3 to make the HD work with this new power supplies however. that is with SATA disks, the NVMe get's it power through the Motherboard so I do not know how could the new PSU affect the NVMe. Anyhow I am throwing it here in case someone has a better understanding if there is any correlation. At the moment I am stumped and the only solution is to stick to Samsung NVMe's those seem to be the ones that work regardless of what power supply I use.

Cache drive disappear after re-boot
I did get another NVMe to PCIe adaptor put the SSD in it and it did not work I moved the NVMe to PCIe adaptor with the SSD drive to another computer it works fine. I changed the SSD to a different one in the same NVMe to PCIe adaptor and it did work, Unraid can see it. So it seems it is the SSD that refuses to work with Unraid. The weirdest thing is this SSD was working correctly since I build my array I never had a problem with it before. It works just fine in another computer. I am scratching my head trying to figure out what could have changed in a reboot to make that SSD stop working in the Unraid computer only, it seems to work correctly everywhere else.

Thank you Jorge, I see what I can find in my area. I'll let you know how it goes.

Cache drive disappear after re-boot
Ok, I am going to have to order another one since this is the only one I have. I'll let you know in a few days how it goes. Can I ask you if there is one brand/model of NVMe to PCIe better than others for Unraid?

Cache drive disappear after re-boot
Thanks Rodan, I gave it a check everything looks in place nothing loose. I can see the activity lights on the NVMe blinking. Is a mystery to me what could it be

Cache drive disappear after re-boot
Hi Jorge, I did boot up Ubuntu from a USB drive and looked in disks and I can't see the NVMe. I have been using the NVMe for a while in Unraid never had a problem is weird that it is not recognized by the OS. I removed it again and moved it to my Windows 11 computer and it did work no issues at all, the NVMe is housed in a "SABRENT NVMe M.2 SSD to PCIe" no issues there that I can see, in Windows is working as it should I was able to make a folder and copy data to it. What could I check/do now? Thank you for all your help.

Cache drive disappear after re-boot
My cache drive is no longer visible, I did reboot my array to install a new power supply. When I power up the array the cache drive is nowhere to be found. I removed the NVMe and tried it on a different machine it is working fine, I install it back in Unraid still could not see it. I remove it once more and reformat the drive in another computer hoping that would make it visible to Unraid where at least it would let me add it and reformat it but no go still the drive does not show up. I have tried to move the NVMe to a different slot in the mother board but still I can't see that drive. Please advise, thank you. ark-diagnostics-20230813-1909.zip

Mover / Parity Check very slow
Hi Jorge, you be correct. Disk 3 works fine all the time, it does not slow down over time. Can I ask you how do you know what disks are SMR, thank you!

Selecting files in Dynamix File Manager
Hi folks, I am moving files around with Dynamix File Manager, I can't figure out how to select multiple files ala ctrl+shift+mouse click in windows. The only way I see how to select is by ticking the boxes next to them and the all or nothing at the top. Is it an obvious way that I am not seeing? Thank you.

Mover / Parity Check very slow
Hi guys hope you can help I am a bit stomped I thought this issue was squashed by not using the cache. I added the Turbo write plugin and I tried to transfer the data directly to the array (no cache) and it did work fine I was seeing about 90mb/s on speed. Today I tried to send another batch started fine but eventually it slow down to kilobits as far as I can tell nothing else is writing to disk I do not have VMs or containers so I do not know what could be slowing down my transfers. I cancel the transfer and did give it a try just now it did the same started up to over 100mb/s but eventually it went down to kilobits. I can see in the dashboard how 2 - 3 cores at a time in the CPU max out to 100% here and there stay there for a bit and come down, it keeps cycling different cores. Usually I do not see that I do not know if that is related. I am attaching diagnostics from this morning, hope you guys can point me in the right direction. ark-diagnostics-20230724-1140.zip
