  1. Hello, just trying to figure out what happened. I'm using Unraid for couple month and everything is super smooth (I'm still on 6.11.5). I keep finding old hard drives on consolidating all data on Unraid. I copied couple HDDs to Unraid using Unassigned Devices. Now this HDD... Plugged it in Windows machine, started copying... Slow... Cancelled the copy operation. Ejected HDD. Plugged into Unraid. It popped in Unassigned. Click Mount... Mounting... Spinning... Popped a message, something about Smart Health, moving sector... The button went from Mounting to Mount. Clicked Mount again. Similar message popped up, but different sector. Not mounted again... Removed from Unraid, plugged back into Windows machine: it sees HDD, but can't open it... What just happened? Does Unraid tried to "fix" HDD right away without any warning?
  2. That worked! Thank you so much. I disabled all 4 built-in NICs and 10Gbe got an IP.
  3. So 1GBe built-in card can become eth0 even though it's not connected by cable?
  4. Hello, I'm on a quest to find a perfect home server. Primary role: NAS. Docker and VMs would be really nice. I used OpenMediaVault before and it seemed to be fragile... Just a feeling... TrueNAS Scale is build around ZFS and I don't feel like I need it. Unraid looks really good for my case. I'm on a trial key. I really like what I see. The only problem that stops me from buying it... I have a switch with a combination of 1GBe ports and 10GBe SFP+ fiber. Unraid worked great with 1GBe, but won't get an IP address when connected to 10GBe port. 1GBe is built into motherboard, 10GBe is add on card. Not sure which particular model, but it is some kind of Mellanox ConnectX 2-port card. I just tried to boot the same system from EndeavourOS live USB and it connected to Internet using 10GBe adapter without any issues... When switching to 10Gbe card, I tried with the same Unraid USB disk that I used for 1Gbe card. Then I written a new Unraid image on the same disk and dropped trial key file in the config folder. Same result: no IP. Is there a way to connect Unraid using 10Gbe card? What do I need to do? PS My first attempt at home server build, basic Linux knowledge...
