Gaming VM M.2 SSD Question
Hi guys, I'm still realy new. I was wondering If I want to have all my GamingVms use a SSD for say my steam library or general gaming storage location would I set it up as a Cache Pool and create a share or would It be possible or have any benefit to just pass the hardware directly through to the VMs? Trying to wrap my head around exactly how this stuff works best in certain situations.

Oh My! Game Changing
Hi Everyone, I'm CodingButter (Butters if you may). I am so very late to the game but hey. Better late than never. My buddy introduced me to unraid a month or so ago and I ripped the rear view mirror off my lime green hatch back!! I'll admit I have had a hell of a time "Correctly" configuring my system,containers,networks,shares,vms.... But I'll also admit all of it was user error thus far. I literally spent 3 days and many moneys trouble shooting what ended up being a network issue caused by a poorly made Ethernet cable (and yes it was I who FUBARed the cable). I look back at that and laugh-ish. That being said I've been able to consolidate 2 remote servers I was paying 100 bucks a month for down to 1 powerhouse of a home server. Unraid and you all have covered so many bases too. With my UPS, Generator and some clever IOT devices I dont even worry about down times. I'm still such a noob to everything unraid can do and all it lets me do. I just wanted to poke my head into the forums. Say hello and thank the community for all the support they give eachother and hope at somepoint I'll be able to return the favor.

WebUI Becomes Unresponsive Only While Downloading (Solved)
So I purchased a new router which is a big upgrade but now the entire network is saturated and I can’t even connect to a website on any computer on the network. Also it does seem like there are some strange hang outs going on on the server even when using a keyboard and monitor. It gets hung up on the login prompt if there is something large downloading to the server. I don’t know what to do Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

WebUI Becomes Unresponsive Only While Downloading (Solved)
TLDR: Latest version of unraid Unresponsive WEBUI only durring heavy bandwidth downloads WEBUI works fine when directly on the unraid server (with monitor) issuie occurs with Sabnzbd downloads (when unthrottled) but also with any heavy downloads (such as downloading a vm iso) All new hardware yet still same problem After downloads have finished the WEBUI works as intended I've been having an Issue with the webui. whenever the server downloads anything at high speeds over 10Mb/s or so the webui is unresponsive. This means when i downloaded the VM win-isos the ui was unresponsive durring download. Also Sabnzbd durring downloads (without throttling below 10MB/s) the ui webui is unresponsive. But when i am using the GUI on the server with a monitor attached all containers and pages are working as expected. Sab is responsive and the rest of unraids gui works as inteded. I have been having this issue regardless of which thumb drive, motherboard, ram and hard drives. I have all my docker containers set with a custom docker network But again even with docker off just the act of downloading the VM iso causes the webui to become un-responsive. I have not be able to check another network but is it possible that it some network setting on unraid? While the ui is unresponsive the rest of the network works as expected. Browsing the web on the computer is fine, Youtube is fine. So i dont think the network is being overly saturated. I'm just a bit confused. I had the same issue with an intel machine and now with a amd processor, different hardware all together. I have comcast business class internet and both my compute and the unraid server are plugged directly into the router. I'm just quickly posting this to see if based on the issue description there is a common problem i'm overlooking. If there is some specific information or logs that are particulary helpful based on the description I'll try my best to get them. And i really do appreciate any help I can get.
