Good evening,
I'd like to start by adding that this is NOT regarding file transfers, but internet speed in general.
I've recently swapped hardware to a Dell PowerEdge R720XD. The swap itself went well, but I am now left with an issue, wherein internet speeds through Unraid are painfully slow (fluctuating between 10-80mbit). Speeds should be around 350-380Mbit.
I am a bit dumbfounded at what is going on. Running a Speedtest in Docker using the SpeedTest-Tracker container returns a speed between 10-80mbit. Running a speed test in my Windows VM whether bridged/passed through also yields the same results, Docker services are also achieving abysmal download speeds due to whatever is going on.
However, if I run a Speedtest in a FireFox container, it reports proper download speeds of 380Mbit.
I have tried resetting my Unraid network, swapped network cables, bypassed everything in my network by connecting the server directly to the LAN port on my modem, and tried swapping out the NIC, as well as attempting to use a USB NIC. I've also verified duplex/MTU settings. Regardless of what I do, or which NIC I use, this server refuses to achieve speeds greater than 10-80mbit.
I am clueless as to how everything in Unraid gets slow speeds, BUT the Firefox container reports the proper speeds.
I have attached a few photos. 1) ethtool report, 2) SpeedTest-Tracker Result, 3) FireFox Container Result.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
