Hi, this is Ana from SME. I thought I would clarify some of the fear, uncertainty and doubt here. Firstly we do collate meta-date a part of the service., but only,filename and file related aspects such as date / time. We need this to be able to offer sync services for the various clouds we support. We do not store or replicate any files. The meta-data is never sold on to third parties and is removed when you delete your account. The other information outlined in the above post is from our privacy policy in which we are legally obliged to outline the type,of data we collect and this refers to the data you use to register with ie. your names, address, email address etc. That policy merely states we may use this data to contact you. Lastly, we offer our whole service as an OVF compliant VMWARE image which you can simply host yourself. We are shortly launching a new version of our Appliance and for the fist time we'll be making it free for Personal use, so if for any reason you do have concerns, simply self host.
