  1. Thank you. I am now formatting. The other drive I hit an X-Icon next to the naming box. Now it shows format which I am willing to go through (There was no data). Will report back later. nas-diagnostics-20181115-0728.zip

  3. I was able to trace that 101 was from the machine by checking the router logs that show the same nic mac address. I then ran a continuous ping in two dos prompts to the 7 ip and the 101 ip simultaneously. I then powered down and powered up the machine to see the ping not respond and re-respond and they did as described. 101 is a dhcp address and is not allocated to the mac address through the router.
  4. Hi, Unraid: v5.0.5 My Unraid box has two ip addresses. A static one defined in settings as 192.168.0.7. However, I have traced 192.168.0.101 to the same machine. 101 is a DHCP address. Why is this happening? Here is my network config # Generated settings: USE_DHCP="no" IPADDR="192.168.0.7" NETMASK="255.255.255.0" GATEWAY="192.168.0.1" DHCP_KEEPRESOLV="no" DNS_SERVER1="192.168.0.1" DNS_SERVER2="" DNS_SERVER3="" BONDING="no" BONDING_MODE="1" The is no mention of ip address 101 or DHCP in the log, only ip 7 My motherboard is a Intel DP43TF.
  5. After reviewing the syslog. It appeared there was a corruption represented as permission errors. Following the forum post from BRIT fixed the problem. http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=7470.0
  6. hi, v5.05 (Please read the background further down so see if it is relevant.) Samba file share. My user-share "MyShare" is not showing any files or folders. However, "MyShare" is present as a folder under each disk# and each is showing a list of files and folders present on that disk. How can I fix the situation without the risk of losing my files? Have tried a powerdown and restart. "MyShare" appears in the administrative console as a share under the shares tab. Has default settings, nothing special. When browsing using the webgui, no files or folders are shown for that share. Copying a file to the user-share does not show that file in the user-share. However, looking into the appropriate /disk#/MyShare and I see the file there. Background Last night a drive failed. I had a brand new one standing by and swapped it, rebuilt the data from the parity and ran a parity check. So everything is fine except my user-share is showing empty.
  7. Apologies. Wish i set notify to see your reply sooner. I just upgraded my friend. Here is the page: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_Instructions Section: 5.0-rc9 through 5.0-rc16c In summary, this is all i did. Copied the bzimage, bzroot and syslinux folder. I did not modify any syslinix files in the root (as the instruction refers to the CFG).
  8. Can someone PLEASE update the FAQ? It says only copy the syslinux.cfg. I found this forum because i thought it unusual to only copy the cfg without having a syslinux folder on my flash drive to begin with.
