Since upgrading to version 7.2.3 from 7.2.2, both my unraid servers slowed down when using either Binhex-Urbackup or even Luckybackup.
On especially Lucky backup, but also on urbackup, files that normally transferred at 160Mb/s +, slowed down to less than 10Mb/s. Backups normally take 1.5 hours on average, now it took more than 4 hours on Lucky backup and even urbackup took several hours, even on Incremental backups. I therefore downgraded to 7.2.2 an now it runs fast again! I include diagnostics for what it is worth. Thank you. towerlightning-diagnostics-20251229_1509.zip

To swap USB keys between servers to change unleashed licence to Pro license and visa versa
Dear Kirah, yes, I did it, but also retained the go files as I saw somewhere that you need to also keep them on the stick. Nevertheless, by deleting the config files, except the .key and go files and copying the other sticks files to this drive, does swap the license to the correct server. In my example above, Server B now runs the pro license and I now have a free unraid stick with the unleashed key to use for testing, etc... Many thanks for the confirmation!

To swap USB keys between servers to change unleashed licence to Pro license and visa versa
I have been running 3 unraid servers till now. I have 2 Pro licenses and one unleashed license. They are still all valid and working. What I want to do it to trash the one server running on the Pro license and install this USB and license on the server running with the unleashed license The 3rd Server (Server A) with the other Pro license will not be affected as it is my main NAS server. Let me put it more graphically: 1. Server A runs a Pro license and is my main server, so no change 2: Server B runs on an unleashed license and is my backup server (I want to move the pro lisense to this server) 3. Server C runs a Pro licence and I want to rebuild this into a test server and for this I do not need a Pro license for this. My take on it is to simply erase the config on Server B's usb stick, then copy the config file from server C's usb stick to Server B's usb stick, but retain the original .key and go files on both sticks (In other words, they don't move as to keep the licenses with the correct USB stick, etc). I then place Server C's USB in Server B and boot Server B and it should start us per usual, but now with the Pro License. Will this work? I couldn't find anyone trying to do this. I could of course just upgrade Server B to a full license, but at $149 currently, is to much for my liking... Any advise on this please.

Change disk locations, numbering
Yes, thanks. What I think best is to copy data using unbalanced from the 6 x SATA drives to the 6 x SAS drives, remove the 6 x SATA drives and then simply rebuilt parity (I will also remove the 2 x SATA parity drives and replace with 1 x SAS Parity for now, before rebuilding parity). Hope this will work.

Change disk locations, numbering
Okay, I understand the above scenario with a single parity Array. How would you renumber or move disks around in a 2 parity array? I have 8 x 16Tb SATA drives of which 2 is used for parity. I have just added 8 x 16Tb SAS drives and the idea is to copy all the data from the SATA to the SAS drives in the array. Once the SATA drives are empty, I want to remove them, leaving the numbering to start with disk7 as the first SAS disk up to disk13, etc... I would like to replace the SATA parity disks with the 2 SAS disks, which probably mean redoing parity, etc.. I am guessing, if the first 6 SATA drives are empty, can I take out all the SATA drives including Parity, renumber the drives from 1 to 6 (Data drives that is) and use new config and redo parity or something like that? Any advise please. I don't mind redoing parity, but obviously don't want to lose data from any of the 6 drives, even after the move, unless I copy (lightbulb!)

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Aha, a light went just up. My USB stick is only 1Gb in size and it complained that the stick was more than 90% full. I did not realise the driver was over 300mb. This is probably why it doesn't download. I have managed to install other plugins over the net with no issues, so I think this must be the problem. Let me change the USB to a larger one and try again. Thank you so much!

[Plugin] Nvidia-Driver
Hi guys. First my apologies if this was asked before. I just could not find this specific problem and is asking for advice and help please. I am running an unraid server (v6.12.11) on an ASUS ROG STRIX B560-A GAMING motherboard and Intel i7-11700K. It runs fine with Plex and a couple of other docker applications. I also had a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3060 GPU to transcode plex media, etc. I took this out as the Intel processor's internal GPU works just as fine and besides, I just now build a new server on an AMD processor (ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4) with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor. The Ryzen does not have an onboard GPU, so I had to plug in the GTX 3060. The new server runs fine and will be replacing the older machine, why copyig all the data (Some 65Tb's worth). IT is still busy copying, etc... The problem is, the new server absolutely refuses to install the NVIDIA driver from the APPs. I installed the GPU Stats plugin, even the Intel GPU Top, but then removed it again as that was just to get the NVTop plugin to install, etc... After all of this, the driver refuses to install and gives me the following message: Any advice or help will be much appreciated. Many thanks.

[solved] Odd issue with User Scripts
Hi squid, I had a similar problem and after reading this post and about the special or invalid characters, I found after ending the one script I wanted to add with and exclamation mark (!) that kills my user script updating or doing anything to it... I removed the "!" from the end of the name of this script on the flash drive, restarted the userscript option and viola! It worked... Is there any way to add this to the script plugin to not break on special characters like you said you may do in this post? I am sure it will happen again to me and probably someone else as well! Many thanks.!

Corsair RMi, HXi, AXi PSU Statistics - CyanLabs's fork
Yes, that would be great, unless there is a command one can simply issue to spi it to say 50% or similar, etc... I am not really familiar with Linux, so any advice will be helpful, many thanks.

One more question and one more quirk... It seems after a while that the RM850i disappear after a few minutes and only comes back after a reboot of the Server. I will try and dig more to find out why. Second question, not a quirk. Will you perhaps be working on an update to set certain parameters in the PSU, like the fan, when to switch on or even manually, etc...? I have found in the past, running the Windows version of my setup that you could turn the fan on or increase speed according the temperature of the CPU or the likes... Just asking, many thanks.

Corsair RMi, HXi, AXi PSU Statistics - CyanLabs's fork
Hi there, okay, tried default, still the same. Read some of the earlier posts and it seems my system doesn't see the PSU, I think... have a look at this screenshot please. I have the link cable (USB) plugged directly into one of the Motherboard USB ports (This used to work with the QUE software, so doesn't make sense, unless a driver issue on Unraid perhaps?)

Corsair RMi, HXi, AXi PSU Statistics - CyanLabs's fork
Hi guys, I have a n RM-850i, which worked with the CUE software before I turned this into an unRaid NAS. I am running Unraid 6.12.3. I could not install the app from the community location as in the log it says: "plugin: bad file MD5: /boot/config/plugins/corsairpsu/corsairpsu-2023.06.15-x86_64.txz" I then used the manual install from "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Cyanlabs/corsairpsu-unraid/master/corsairpsu.plg" which installed as a plugin. My problem now is that it messes up the dashboard a little and does not seem to display any information from the PSU. I checked the cables and the USB cable is plugged into the Motherboard as before. Do I need to specify the USB port number? It says it is not needed for the RM850i or am I missing something? Any help of advice will be welcome, thank you!
