Solutions

  1. 3llipsoid's post in Unraid server no internet connection - router does not see server was marked as the answer   
    setting the IPv4 DNS server assignment to static and adding in 8.8.8.8 seems to have resolved the issue. I had tried this earlier with no success.
     
    Everything appears to be working, but I have no idea why.
