After several tests with 2 unraid servers, I discovered why the server crashes after 1 or 2 weeks, and only unlocks when you hold down the button and then start. the test was done with 2 servers The first server used an m2 adapter with usb cable, the m2 16gb ssd is the same as shown in the image below. not recommended because it will crash 2nd Server used 1 Kingston 4GB pendrive, it was the one I had, the same as in the images below, highly recommended. the test was carried out for a month but the 2 servers had the same requirement: motherboard 1155 i5-3470 processor 16gb ram memory 4 hard drives of 12TB each 2 500GB SSD in Raid 1 real source 650w gigabyte remembering that the crash that occurred was already done on another type of processor, motherboard, memory, etc. but it was not the reason for the crash that caused the unraid after 1 week the 1st server that used an m2 adapter for usa+ m2 ssd had the unraid system crash As for the 2nd server that used a Kingston pendrive, nothing happened and everything remained normal for a month. But I did a test with other SanDisk 16GB pendrives. After a month nothing happened, it continued to work normally. It is not caused by unraid but where it is installed I do not recommend using an adapted sata to usb or M2 to usb or any other type of adapter, it is better you use an Original pendrive, kingston, sandisk, Oricon, any other quality one and you do not need it If you worry about choosing 2.0 or 3.0, everything will work normally between the 2 in unraid. But because 3.0 generates an incredible amount of heat, I was even unable to hold the aluminum pendrive, use the 3.0 pendrive on the 2.0 input, you will see that the heat always drops and it stays low, limiting the speed of 3.0 to 2.0 and your normal unraid server will start. No problem, not even one, that's the way I use it. Hope this helps

Hi, it happened again today almost now but this time I was able to access unraid but everything was slow when accessing the unraid functions and I didn't drop the connection but anything I accessed the page was slow but my log server was active could it be that I record what happened, but it doesn't turn off on the panel or even pressing the button, just holding the button until it turns off, but when it turns on everything goes back to normal. the file below is from the server logs syslog-192.168.88.252.log
  3. I did the following with 2 servers to see if it's the SSD's fault because I already changed the motherboard, processor, RAM and it still crashed. I left 1 computer with 2 500GB SSDs in raid 1 for cache Main another computer like 2 500gb hard drives in raid 1 for cache + 2 hard drives 1 for parity and another for data Just to see if it could be the SSD cache disk test

Look, I just did a test here on another machine with another processor and it happened again, the system crashes, doesn't give access to the network and even a docker doesn't work, nothing works but the computer stays on, it only comes back on if it turns off by holding the button and then turns it on, what do you think? from the 18th to home it happens on the second machine and a new installation looks like this, I saw that there are other people here on the forum with the same problem, what do you think it is, I activated the Syslog Server but it doesn't register anything, send me the photo asv-syslog-20240102-2123.zip

  11. ate ontem tava tudo ok mais hoje recebi uma fotificação que um dos discos está dando erro ao incia um teste fala q concluído: erro de leitura mais não faz nem um mesm de uso e esse disco so oculpo 6tp e deixo 6tb livre, eu não sei si foi por causa da atualização que saio 6.12.4 ou é o hd com defeito mais parece q ele ta funcionando normal ou deve ser um erro de análise do unraid todos os disco e eu compro eu testo no windows com soft para ver o estado de novo e erros si ouver mais todos ele ta tudo ok e ja enchi q arquivos neles como vc pode ver so fica em 50% ainda cada um deles ah alguma forma de corrigir esse erro e não perde meus arquivos la
  12. nossa eu vi esse nome high-water e nem sabia pra q server mais algum sensasão dizia q era algum para mim so q ano mexo no q eu nao sei kkkkk mais si realmente ele vai escrever 50% ate o quarto disco ai ele volta a esscreve do primeiro então eu nao devo muda ou mim preocupa né deixa do jeito q ta ou vai implica em alguma coisa? da forma q vc falo fiquei mais tranguilo Obrigado amigo ajuda e fara com q outro tive essa preocupação irei passa essa informação Deus abenções
  13. tenho um servidor unraid a poucos dias, comprei 4 HDs de 12tb cada, mais nao deixei em paridade formando si 48tb para armazena mais sim pretendo coloca mais 2 disco para 2 paridade mais pra frente so q depois q fui enchendo os disco ele so chega a 6tb e ja pula para enche o outro disco ate 6tb de novo, nao sei o q fazer para ele usa o disco total pra depois pula para outros ele da deixando 6tb nao sei pre que alguem ai sabe como resolver isso eu uso btfs nao zfs
