  1. Wow! with unassigned devices it wasn't working but with at simply mount -o loop cache1.iso ./cachemount/ i was able to mount the image and i'm copying the data right now!!! 🎉 Will do more tests with the drive, because apparently it has no errors, and also next time configure properly the cache disk! One to learn the hard way

The above only provides legacy SMART information - try 'smartctl -x' for more I do the clone with ddrescue but If i try to mount the image that i made of the disk, i keep having the error: Nov 9 15:00:25 Sarabi unassigned.devices: Mount of '/mnt/user/isos/cache1.iso' failed: 'mount: /mnt/disks/SSD_cache_image_1: can't read superblock on /dev/loop4. dmesg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.' Any clue on how can I fix this?
  3. Here are the new logs, connected with the cables of another drive that has no trouble, I think the disk is KO, but I only have I/O errors on the moment of the mount. If i made a check without trying to mount it first, i have this: root@Sarabi:~# btrfs check /dev/sdf1 Opening filesystem to check... 4. Thanks itimipi, honestly, don't know, but for some reason I assume it :(. Thanks for the confirmation, I will also check the connections, but I suppose that for sure I will have to fix something, because the unit is not mounted even when I was able to copy it properly to the image, and also I'm not able to mount the image, so this make sense right? Any clue to fix the image to be able to mount it? Thanks
  5. Hello, today suddenly the cache disk stop working and after a reboot, what I found is that is not able to mount anymore, trying to get some information from terminal with the reiserfsck, the only information I have is the following: root@Sarabi:~# reiserfsck --fix-fixable /dev/sdf reiserfsck 3.6.27 Will check consistency of the filesystem on /dev/sdf and will fix what can be fixed without --rebuild-tree Will put log info to 'stdout' Do you want to run this program?[N/Yes] (note need to type Yes if you do):Yes Failed to open the device '/dev/sdf': Unknown code er3k 127 That error code for every command I put in the reiserfsck command. I also made an image with ddrescue: ➜ ~ ddrescue -d -f -r3 /dev/sdf /mnt/user/media/cache.iso /mnt/user/media/cache.log GNU ddrescue 1.27 Press Ctrl-C to interrupt ipos: 1024 GB, non-trimmed: 0 B, current rate: 32202 kB/s opos: 1024 GB, non-scraped: 0 B, average rate: 45266 kB/s non-tried: 0 B, bad-sector: 0 B, error rate: 0 B/s rescued: 1024 GB, bad areas: 0, run time: 6h 17m 5s pct rescued: 100.00%, read errors: 0, remaining time: n/a time since last successful read: n/a Copying non-tried blocks... Pass 1 (forwards) Finished But when I try to mount it with unassigned devices, I'm getting the following error: Nov 8 22:03:11 Sarabi unassigned.devices: Mount of '/mnt/user/isos/cache.iso' failed: 'mount: /mnt/disks/SDD_cache_image: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/loop4, missing codepage or helper program, or other error. dmesg(1) may have more information after failed mount system call.' So here I am, trying to find any solution to get the information from the disk, because even it was "only" a cache disk, because of my incompetence, i have valuable information in there Anyone have any clue to see if I can recover some information from the drive? Thanks! P.D. Also attaching the diagnostics. sarabi-diagnostics-20241108-2201.zip
  6. Yep, brand new cables, and test with two different ones! dammit Marvel!!
  7. Hello! i just started with unraid recently, with and old computer i own, is a P6X58D Premium motherboard that has 8 SATA ports, 6 with an Intel ICH10R controller, and another 2 with a MARVELL 88SE9123 controller. (i check in bios to always use AHCI) The thing is, i start adding drives in the intel controller and everything was fine, the problem was with the first one i add in the marvel controller, i was able to add it to the array, but in certain moment when adding data to it, it give me some read errors and the device disable itself (content emulated), because the smart information and the surface test of the disk was good, i try to re-add the same disk to the array, but i end with the same errors. I have another new disk to add in the future, and i replace that for the one with the failure, and start the parity again, but i have also read errors at the 44,4% of the process I get the diagnostics after that error (no rebooting) Can someone help me with this, in order to know if the problem is with the controller or if i have 2 disk with errors? Thanks!! P.D. i already purchase an LSI 9211-8i P20 IT Mode to replace all the disk but i will receive it in 10/15 days... sarabi-diagnostics-20230801-1011.zip
