  1. Sorry for the late reply, i didn't actually have a hardware issue. My problem was Macvlan networking so i switched all my containers over to Ipvlan instead and i've been stable for over 2 months now, im pretty sure it was down to my unifi container causing random shutdowns as i found unifi doesn't handle multiple unique mac addresses well and can cause kernel panics if you encounter anything that sounds similar or use unifi, this might be the issue for you too.
  2. Yeah i also think it is crashing i can only see it being the board or cpu at this point which is quite annoying as ive replaced everything else previously
  3. Thanks for the reply i have tested both dimms separately and i have also tested another kit of ram i had, my cpu is a i7 12700 which id have hoped would have been better than a 13/14 gen for stability. im not sure if a bios update would help my situation but it is not something i have tried yet so i shall give that a go thanks
  4. id like to say i know this looks like a hardware issue, i just wanted opinions if this is a bug/fixable before i end up switching my motherboard/cpu out as im not flowing in cash :(
  5. Hi all i previously made a post about unclean shutdowns happening at random times (normally happens after a few weeks of uptime) im still encountering this frequently still the tests i have carried out is: changing the PSU to a known good one, running memtest (3 passes), swapping the ram out entirely, updating unraid OS, downgrading the OS, ive checked all my containers running and VMs and there doesn't seem like an issue is present. The only items Ive never swapped out is my motherboard and CPU. Ive also switched fast boot off and XMP in the bios too. I forgot to mention when it does do a unclean shutdown it always restarts which is what is confusing me as id have thought it would stay off if it was something serious. Im at a loss on what to do next I've also setup a syslog server on unraid and pointed it to my firewall but i get no useful info to point towards a cause just a gap between it crashing and it rebooting. I have other equipment running from the same power source too that has never had any problems so i doubt its bad AC, if anyone could look over my diagnostics id really appreciate it. nas-diagnostics-20251028-1040.zip
  6. So I’ve just gotten home and I’ve tested the psu with a power supply tester and it failed on the PG so I’m going to assume this is the issue I will replace it and once it’s replaced I’ll run memtest too. Sucks because this power supply is only 7/8 months old too :(
  7. Sorry i forgot to mention that id actually changed my ram as i thought this would be the issue, i did a memtest and a live memory test to rule this out, the psu is roughly 6 months old i do have a psu tester so ill give that a test when im back from work thanks
  8. Ive just woken up to a unclean shutdown, i''ve consistently had these over the past year sometimes i can go 2/3 months with no issues and recently i've had two in this week. The fixes i've tried to help this is to disable xmp, allow a longer shutdown period roughly 7 minutes, kill any ssh/bash terminal sessions as i have been guilty of leaving them open before. I setup a syslog server on my pfsense which also doesn't point to any clues it just catches unraid rebooting. The unclean shutdown times are not consistent and are very sporadic i've noticed i've attached my diagnostics, if anyone has the time to have a look id really appreciate any help. nas-diagnostics-20250814-0636.zip
