  1. I managed to fix it by doing the following: changing unraid to boot in legacy mode per spaceinvader ones recommendations passing in the vbios from spaceinvader ones script reinstalling the ubuntu vm from scratch using the GPU from the get go
  2. maybe resetting docker like i did in the post above would help? not sure...
  3. Hi all, I have been searching through various topics all day but I cannot quite figure this one out... I have my GPUs bound to vfio on boot, unsafe VFIO interrupts set to true. I makesure that my GPU and its sound card are both on the same slot and bus, with different functions to make sure that doesnst cause an issue. I have tried different pcie slots on my mobo, and several different graphics cards. I have an i9-9900k and a 3080 ti, 1060 and a 1070 but my goal is to get ubuntu working with the 3080 ti At one point I got the 1060 working form slot 2 with linux outputting to a monitor but I'm not sure if that was a fluke or not... I'll try that again tomorrow. Anyway, its getting late but here is my xml configs, the windows one works perfectly and outputs to a monitor, the linux one does not, and I was able to get the virtual vnc with the GPU as a second GPU and got a message of "pci_hp_register failed with error -16" and on the next line "slot initialization failed" lastly I have my iGPU set as primary for boot in bios, and I output that to a different monitor I just don't know where to find debug messages for this, since it simply doesn't output. Is this a driver/compatibility issue with ubuntu? Windows XML: Windows log: Ubuntu XML: Ubuntu log:
  4. So I removed my gitlab-ce docker and I am having issues reinstalling it, I keep getting this error, I have done a fair bit of searching but I don't fully understand it. I think some sort of clean removal would help? i thought I did that with the app cleaner plugin but it did not fix the issue UPDATE: fixed my own problem by following the steps from this thread:
