Solutions

  1. Yeti.FRO's post in No Trial Key due to "Your time or date is incorrect, please update it or enable NTP" - but time is ok was marked as the answer   
    @Frank1940: Thx for the assistance.  Current date/time, TimeZone and hwclock all show the correc values.  BIOS clock in UTC and current time & time zone correctly show CET.
     
    However, I found the solution few minutes ago.  Booted in GUI Mode and there I could register. Even when setting time/zone wrong, you can register in the GUI... 
     
    Reminds me of the old times when many games often were not running or crashing due to their copy protection....
