  1. It looks like they're at least adding less friction to running under hyper-v based on the changes. I know I'm in a small minority of users that would want to do this for a production system, but I would imagine this will be extremely useful for those looking to test version upgrades or use it for plugin development without requiring dedicated hardware. My assumption is that licensing will have to be handled by virtual tpm as USB passthrough isn't really an option for hyper-v. Some clarification on the expected installation/boot method and licensing would be nice. Hopefully someone from the dev/support team can chime in on this.
  2. Can we get some clarification/guidance on the supported installation and licensing steps for running unraid under hyper-v? This is something that I've wanted to do for ages on my primary server that runs windows. My backup server is unraid on bare metal, but I would love to consolidate a couple of my linux hyper-v vm's that I use for docker under a single unraid vm for easier management and storage mapping.
  3. The release notes for 7.4.0 RC1 mention support for running unraid under hyper-v as the drivers are now included. I'm curious as to how the installation and licensing can/will be handled since USB passthrough isn't supported with hyper-v. My assumption is that it will be a combination of internal boot and perhaps tpm licensing? Some clarification here would be awesome as I've been wanting to do this for a long time now.
