  1. I have the same problem. The solution of "Great News. To fix a different issue with the onboard SATA ports not working I was asked to add "pci=realloc=off" behind "initrd=/bzroot" which has the unexpected excellent side effect of showing all the booting text when plugged into the onboard ASPEED VGA port. " is utterly USELESS. . WHERE is this "added"? Is this a command line? Is this a file that is edited? If so, what is the name of the file and where precisely on the flash drive is it located? Or if it is a command then how does one bring up a console when booting off the flash drive? If you're going to post a solution, but don't actually give necessary information regarding how the solution works, then it is NOT a solution at all to anyone? I came here hoping to find a solution, instead I find no help at all. :(
