  1. root@Lab:~# uname -a Linux Lab 6.8.12-Unraid #3 SMP PREEMPT_DYNAMIC Tue Jun 18 07:52:57 PDT 2024 x86_64 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-12600KF GenuineIntel GNU/Linux I am currently using 7.0.0-beta.2.
  2. Hello Unraid Team, I am writing to request the inclusion of the UHID module in the Unraid kernel. Currently, I am using Unraid 6.8.12 and have encountered an issue where the /dev/uhid device node is missing, which is necessary for certain functionalities I need. After discussing this on the forum, I received feedback indicating that the UHID module is likely not included in the current builds, and the kernel configuration does not have CONFIG_UHID set. This limitation is impacting my ability to fully utilize my setup as intended, and I believe other users might face similar limitations. Reason for Request: • The UHID module is essential for accessing custom HID devices or integrating specific hardware, which is critical for my use case. • Including this module would enhance Unraid’s compatibility with a broader range of hardware and scenarios, improving its flexibility and utility for many users. • Specifically, I am running certain Docker containers that require /dev/uhid, such as the one detailed in the Wolf game management tool https://games-on-whales.github.io/wolf/stable/user/quickstart.html Your consideration of this feature request would be greatly appreciated, and I am happy to provide further details or testing if needed. Thank you!
  3. Hello everyone, I’m currently using Unraid 7.0.0-beta.2 and facing an issue where the /dev/uhid device node is missing from my system, which is preventing access to related functionalities. Here are the steps I’ve tried and the problems I encountered: • I ran lsmod | grep uhid but didn’t find the uhid module. • Attempted to load the module using sudo modprobe uhid, but received the following error: modprobe: FATAL: Module uhid not found in directory /lib/modules/6.8.12-Unraid I have tried looking for relevant plugins and updating the system, but so far nothing has worked. From my research, it seems like I might need to recompile the kernel to include UHID support, but this is beyond my current expertise.
  4. I want to import Zpool, but I don't know what to do. I used the zpool import command, it was successfully imported, but it did not show up in WEB GUI. I also tried selecting the original disk in the WEB GUI, but encountered an error. root@Lab:~# zpool import pool: Big id: 4629473203590326147 state: ONLINE action: The pool can be imported using its name or numeric identifier. config: Big ONLINE raidz1-0 ONLINE sdb2 ONLINE sde2 ONLINE sdf2 ONLINE cache ata-Samsung_SSD_870_EVO_1TB_S6PVNX0T405323W ata-Samsung_SSD_870_EVO_1TB_S6PVNX0T405308M pool: Fast id: 930721074715886285 state: ONLINE action: The pool can be imported using its name or numeric identifier. config: Fast ONLINE raidz1-0 ONLINE nvme0n1p2 ONLINE nvme1n1p2 ONLINE nvme2n1p2 ONLINE root@Lab:~# zpool status -LP no pools available
