  1. Okay! New CAT6 ethernet cables, trying to port everything down and up. I did eth0 down first, then back up, then all others but eth0. diagnostics attached tower-diagnostics-20250122-1213.zip
  2. Ah I’ve been doing this all outside the os gui. That’s this in terminal right? ifconfig eth0 down then reboot and try again? Or just see what happens and send diaogs? I can get into the gui if I need to I just literally haven’t made it past the networking so haven’t had to.
  3. I’ve tried a few cables, but I have to admit they seem like cheapo Ethernet? Like some Amazon basics stuff. I’m going out to get a few decisive cat6s now to try. Can you help me understand what that means? Sorry. my MB has 2 2.5 gb slots, one management. Some of those diagnostics might show another because I tried buying a usb Ethernet to see if that fixes it. Currently we’re in the first 2.5 gb port I’m assuming is eth0 from what I can tell. little new at this but trying. Really appreciate your help!!!!
  4. Confirmed on both. That’s what’s driving me nuts. Connecting with a static ip OR dhcp isn’t working. Static diagnostics are in my first post. Network config here. Lights on for the server.

  6. Do you mean just make sure only the unraid server and wan are used in the router? Just making sure. Right now the old media pc is also in the router. otherwise that’s one of the diagnostics I posted. Just standard unraid on the usb using the usb tool, boot to unraid, using what I’m at least fairly confident is eth0 on the MB just want to make sure I provide the most helpful diagnostic
  7. I cannot for the life of me get my router, a tplink deco, to recognize unraid for the life of me. Confirmed DCHP is on. Tried setting static ip. Lots of static ips Tried different ports (2 2.5gb ports) Tried different cables Bought a usb Ethernet, thinking it was the 2.5 gb ports, no dice. All the above ports show network LEDs as on and active. When I put an Ethernet in the lan management port, deco recognizes it instantly. Can't do anything with it. Edited config to make sure it was IFNAME=eth(whatever one I was using) All ports enabled in bios What am I doing wrong? I keep getting ips on the 169 range which I can't access. Deco doesn't even see a wired device on the network. I can confirm subnet is 255.255.252.0 in my deco settings. it should be anything fancy of a network, its fios ethernet plugged right into the DECO.in my deco router settings IPTV/VLAN is set to disabled, lan IP is the one im using for gateway, and subnet confirmed 255.255.252.0 I have multiple diagnostic files to share, I just can't figure out what im doing wrong. unraid_logs_filtered_new.zip unraid_logs_filtered.zip tower-diagnostics-20250121-2014.zip
