A fairly complex issue involving multiple internet sources, tailscale and delugevpn.
Fixed. For anyone having the issue in the future. I started off from scratch, removed the custom network i was using. 1) In Settings > Docker, enable: Host access to custom networks: Yes 2) On my secondary router, i set the router IP to be from range to 192.168.2.1 - 192.168.2.255 3) I set my IP for the server to be a static address, then went to my other router and set a static address of the 192.168.1.x variety. 5) In Settings > Network Settings I: Set both eth's to static, entered a static gateway value as well 6) I Rebooted the unraid server, 7) I edited the container that i wanted to run off my secondary network connection (in my case setting network type to br2) 8) In additional parameters for the binhex-delugeVPN container, i entered: --dns=8.8.8.8 --dns=1.1.1.1 9) I saved the changes, 10) did a test in the console for the container and ran curl ifconfig.me Seeing an ip address verified that the service was working, and i was able to now access the container over tailscale and it was connecting properly to services

A fairly complex issue involving multiple internet sources, tailscale and delugevpn.
Hey everyone , I'm still fairly new to unraid and Linux as a whole. While my main use is for plex and *arr apps , due to my living situation, my setup has become fairly complex. While I have been able to adapt my setup for any challenge that has faced me, I have finally encountered an issue that is causing me to lose sleep. What's worse, is that i feel like this is the last stage before I can just leave the server alone to do its thing. So my ask, is to have someone i can chat with (via discord preferably) to bounce ideas off of and talk through the issues in encountering as I have been losing sleep trying to figure out a solution to my problem . My setup: Unraid 7.0.1 2 ethernet connections to two desperate internet connection (br0 and br2) (*1, *2) I have a custom network that is connected to br2 (currently Macvlan, because it didn't seem to work when i tried with ipvlan) Tailscale plugin Br0 runs the main services (plex media server, radarr, sonarr, etc) Br2 runs the services in not allowed to run on our main internet (delugevpn) I have swag setup for a reverse proxy and had it connected to br2 to try to solve my current issues... but they were counter productive it seems... *1: did I need eth2 to be set up as a bridge, idk that was just how i had it when i finally got my dual Ethernet connection working . *2: br0 is my fast connection, br2 is a slow home wifi device from my phone carrier that has a poor connection. The current issue: I am unable to open the webgui for delugevpn while it is connected to br2. If it is on br0 i can get the webgui to run but only with tailscale disconnected (or if running through reverse proxy via swag). Also, while messing with this today, I broke it to where my eth2 connection doesnt seem to be sending internet to the container anymore. I would say "oh just switch everything around and run my fast internet through br2 and switch the apps to run on that and use br0 exclusively for delugevpn..." but plex media server needs to be in host mode, and the in slow internet can't hold a stream for longer than 3seconds... I'm sure there are some minute details I'm forgetting to mention, but I think there's enough detail there for people to get an understanding ... So hopefully someone is willing to be my unraid buddy and help me come up with a solution for this or some kind of workaround 😂 also, I think it'd be nice to have a potential friend to talk about unraid stuff with .

Unraid Future Feature Desires Poll
I would like an easier way to handle multiple network sources. I have 2 different ethernet connections from two separate internet services and have been trying to funnel the specific eth connections to specific docker containers. i have something that kind of works, but it would be nice to have my br2 connection be able to work in the same ways that the br0 connection does. If there were new features to make this simpler, maybe I wouldn't be bald.
