  1. The server crashed. i can't set the disk 5 to no device "Too many wrong and/or missing disks!". quick search suggest i need to create new config. will this be safe for logs and stuff? in case needed for later on. Yes, I have the most important files backed up through a scheduled job on a separate server. However, it's not the most recent update. so, I plan to attempt the cloning process using ddrescue after getting new drive. Will try it and update the thread. appreciate your insight guys.
  2. hello, Today, the server shut down automatically. I have restarted it and encountered the following issue: kernel: critical medium error, dev sdf, sector 6442451112 op 0x0:(READ) flags 0x0 phys_seg 4 prio class 0 kernel: md: disk5 read error, sector=6442451048 i was still able to view the data on the server it self. although its a shared server so i check my files and it seems normal. normally, i will start the server on maintenance mode. then try to check the files for disk 5. i got the following Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... superblock read failed, offset 3298534871040, size 131072, ag 3, rval -1 fatal error -- Input/output error disk mounted normally with the above error. tried to unplug and re plug the disks, changed the sata cable but no luck. i will attached the diagnostics logs tower-diagnostics-20260119-1723.zip
