[Solved] IP Address not Set
Right, yes. I had my network wired incorrectly, this was entirely on my end. I will attempt to explain how it was explained to me by a friend. I had the ethernet switch acting as the middleman between the router, home computer, and server. Google fiber gives one public IP, which was taken up by my computer. The router needed to be between the fiber ONT and the switch to turn the one public IP into multiple private IPs, and not knowing what I was doing I disrupted that ecosystem. With the line from the ONT now running into the WAN port on the router, and from the LAN port therein to the switch, then the rest of my network, I am now getting a 192.168.x.x IP on the server. I apologize for wasting everyones time, but thank you very much for trying to help!

[Solved] IP Address not Set
I will be honest I do not know what that is or how to do it. The last time I had the server up, it was assigned a 192.X.X.X IP, not sure why this time it is trying to assign a public IP.

[Solved] IP Address not Set
AFAIK no one? Ive had google fiber as long as Ive lived here, just plug and go. I did have this server up and running a few months back on the trial plan, did some fiddling around with port forwarding and the like to try to be able to access it remotely (as stated in the original post didn't work due to the double NAT protection on meshed routers), but this is a wipe and clean install on the USB stick.

[Solved] IP Address not Set
I cannot, connection times out same as when trying tower.local. Whether or not its public or private and why it is, is well beyond my level of understanding.

[Solved] IP Address not Set
Plugs, cables, switch, router all checked ok. I switched the ports on the switch from one of the 4 main to the 5th Link/Act port, and now am getting an IPv4 address but no IPv6 address. tower.local connection times out as well, but at least thats a step up from not connecting at all!

[Solved] IP Address not Set
Hey guys, setting up my server for the second time and now running into connection issues. I rewired my house, and rather than running the cable from the server to my router (cant port forward and stuff, google fiber double NAT), I now run to a ethernet switch which has lines to the modem, router, server, and computer. Other devices route through it to the internet just fine. I did a clean install on my USB drive, and now when booting I see both IPv4 and IPv6 address are not set. I ran diagnostics and powered down. Looking at other topics on these forums, I deleted the network.cfg and booted again. Still no change. Attached are both diagnostics files, with 1259 being the second attempt. I looked for the bonding variable mentioned in this topic, however I could not find it. I am very, VERY new to all this, but if anyone has ideas or suggestions, thank you!
