Solutions

  1. KnightmareFrame's post in [Solved] IP Address not Set was marked as the answer
Right, yes. I had my network wired incorrectly, this was entirely on my end. I will attempt to explain how it was explained to me by a friend. I had the ethernet switch acting as the middleman between the router, home computer, and server. Google fiber gives one public IP, which was taken up by my computer. The router needed to be between the fiber ONT and the switch to turn the one public IP into multiple private IPs, and not knowing what I was doing I disrupted that ecosystem. With the line from the ONT now running into the WAN port on the router, and from the LAN port therein to the switch, then the rest of my network, I am now getting a 192.168.x.x IP on the server.

I apologize for wasting everyones time, but thank you very much for trying to help!
