Timemachine Application Support Thread
This is how I fixed NATIVE Unraid TM backup if you dont want to use Docker for it and have the same problem as I had Unraid 7.2.4 - MacOS 26.4

Time Machine backup disk image cannot be created on zfs pool
6 hours of back and forth with LLMs (F***) and this is what fixed it natively on Unrain TM. Unraid 7.2.4 - MacOS Tahoe 26.4 sudo /usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c 'Add :UNRAID_IP_HERE bool true' '/private/var/root/Library/Group Containers/group.com.apple.NetworkAuthorization.ServerMarkers/serverMarkers.plist'

Unable to backup with Time Machine. Unraid 7.2.4. Tahoe 26.4
So this is weird, despite having the version where Samba was rolled back to 4.22.8 and being able to fully read previous backup and config everything, I am not able to actually back it up. I even tried Docker Time Machine and still no bueno. I tried all kinds of extra settings for SMB, but nothing worked, so I removed all of them. Worst part, I have no idea how to debug it because even after an hour of back and forth with Claude Opus 4.6, I still dont have a solution. Which files exactly in the diagnostics are responsible for this? I browsed through briefly and even anonymized, I didn't like what I saw there. It doesn't seem safe to dump full zip file on a public forum.

Nope, this is not the issue...

Just tried to set up this Docker, exactly the same result as for native Unraid... Any ideas? Native Unraid Setup: I am on 7.2.4 ZFS and Tahoe 26.4, I am not able to use Time Machine backup. Everything has been working before and now I have no idea which of all of the fix options I should use? Able to mount it on Mac and add it as a backup, but once I start the backup, it fails immediately

I shouldn't need to run Docker to be able to do a TM backup. Able to mount it on Mac and add it as a backup, but once I start the backup, it fails immediately Any ideas? Update: Just tried to set up recommended Docker, exactly the same result...
