Solutions

  1. razordullwit's post in Absolute Noob - Stopping Array froze WebUI was marked as the answer   
    Honestly, the problem was just the Web UI. It's fragile and I think there might be a bug with the throbber after stopping the array. Reloading the web page fixed it. I was just panicky because this was literally my first experience with Unraid and I was worried about data loss.
