Can we trust nfs on unraid now?
I remember it being unstable with a lot of stale handle errors.
I'm running 5 on esxi and have all the shares on samba because of the errors.

I use btrfs on my main computer (arch+gnome) no problems at all. On the other hand my work laptop (same model) has had w7 die twice with a corrupt ntfs partition.

My esxi box is always on. I even have my router on that thing so turning it off is a big no no

Just follow the stable releases. It could cause confusion when people would have multiple database versions

You can run a webserver (apache for example) on your pc/laptop and run phpvirtualbox from there.

Hey guys
I would like to be able to use a openvpn client on my unraid box but only route specific traffic through it. Everything would go through the normal network accept a short list of addresses that would go through the vpn connection.
First off, is that possible? Does anyone have any guidelines for me how I could make this happen in Unraid?
Secondly i was wondering about security. If i would leave the vpn connected am I compromising the security of the box? Could I be sharing my unraid web console etc with other users on the vpn (bought subscription)?
[EDIT] Solved: see this thread http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=19439.msg205060#msg205060

Configuring is no problem with fstab but I was more thinking if the nfs problems were now fixed in unraid and it can be trusted
By the way congrats on your vm, repo and videos. You are on a roll
