Since my server is a very low usage one it is kind of overkill to have it running all the time with a knob, so i was hoping to avoid it. Since the elitedesk doesn't have anything really to plug into in the motherboard i bought a usb to usb header which i know unraid can see the controller though when I use some terminal command which I don't remember (The ai said to to it when I tried to listen to it) but I couldn't get it to connect to the software. Hi, I have an elitedesk g5 800 mini, I also have a HDD which is constantly getting hot from use, so I need a solution, I tried the AI chatbots but heaven forbid it comes out with anything useable. I bought the Arctic fan controller and a usb to usb header cable, its all connected to a spare sata cable. but I cant get neither FanCTRL 2 nor OpenFanController to actually see it. Can anyone recommend me a fan controller that will work, or even better a way to get the arctic working and save me some money. Thanks so much in advance.
