    I have the dell HBA firmware on it now, and it works properly, but when I read the HBA firmware information, it's still considered IR apparently, even though is the Dell HBA firmware.

    This did not work. It failed at the step where you flash the LSI P7 firmeware with "Cannot flash an IR controller with IT firmware" or something like that. I was using the efi sas2flash, because all of the 9 different motherboards I tried had the PAL error.

    I just got a perc H310, good job. Unfortunately every machine I have either will not POST, or throws the PAL error in SAS2FLSH.
