  1. Thank you so much for your help. I'll look into adjusting the RAM allocation.
  2. Hi All. I received the above "Out of memory errors detected on your server" in Fix Common problems. Can someone help me determine where the issue lies? Diagnostics attached. Thanks in advance for anyone who has the time to take a look. tower-diagnostics-20220801-0820.zip
  3. Update: It appears to be a networking problem because when the server drops offline, the connection is reestablished if you disconnect and immediately reconnect the ethernet cable. Any thoughts?
  4. I am having some trouble with my server when I am running VMs. My setup had been rock solid since I built it a 2 years ago, and remained solid after upgrading to Unraid 6. I recently decided to start using the VM capabilities of Unraid 6, and built a couple VMs to test it out (Win7 64bit and Win10 64bit). I have found that whenever I leave the VMs running, the shares and GUI drop offline and the server will not respond to pings. This does not happen if the VMs are powered down (even if VMs are still enabled in the VM Manager). I hooked a monitor and keyboard up to the server directly and the console is still functioning. The syslog does not show anything interesting happening at the time the server goes off the network. I grabbed the diagnostics zip file the last time it happened, but I don’t know what to look for: Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance tower-diagnostics-20151103-1934.zip
  5. I just had 2 AOC-SASLP-MV8 cards that needed re-flashing right out of the box. It might not be limited only to the AOC-SAS2LP-MV8 cards either.
  6. TheWombat, I saw your post and modified the 6480.txt file that came with the firmware (before I flashed it). After re-flashing, [RAID FEATURE] and [RAID5] show "disable" as you described. Now it initializes the cards, and waits while the drives spin up. It takes maybe 10-15 sec for both cards. Thanks for the help.
  7. FYI, in case anyone find this, I re-flashed that latest bios onto both cards and I'm good to go.
  8. Since I have 2 of them and both behave the same way I figured that it wasn't the cards, but just to be sure I tried them in another computer. I still don't see a prompt to get into their bios. I even tried hitting ctl-m constantly though the boot just in case it was just flashing by too fast, but no luck. Anyone have an idea what to try next? Or should I just return the cards?
  9. Hello All, I'm brand new here and attempting my first build. Unfortunately I ran into trouble right away and am having problems getting my AOC-SASLP-MV8 controller cards set up. I installed them onto a Supermicro MBD-X9SCM-F-O motherboard. But whatever I do I can't get the card bios to show up during boot. I have tried each of the card separately using multiple PCIe slots. Is there some step I'm missing or some BIOS setting that I need to change. I searched the forums and it seems like other are using this board/controller combo without mention of any problems. A created a USB boot to dos and ran the mdu.exe program that is included in the firmware downgrade (.21 to .15). I tried to backup the card configuration and it errors. I really don't know what to do. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
