  1. Syntax should be something like: cd /mnt/user rm “*” right?
  2. Hi, there've been a few similar threads over the years, but none of the actions suggested have helped. I'm running 6.8.1 on a Ryzen 2700X, B450 motherboard, 64GB of RAM, an LSI controlled flashed to IT mode. Array is made up of 7 spinning rusts; parity is a 5tb Toshiba drive. SATA SSD is cache. I see this error in the log pretty frequently - Tower emhttpd: error: put_config_idx, 613: Invalid argument (22): fopen: /boot/config/shares/*.cfg Output from ls -al /mnt/user total 52428828 drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 42 Nov 26 2017 */ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 100 Apr 1 14:42 ./ drwxr-xr-x 11 root root 220 Apr 1 14:02 ../ drwx------ 1 nobody users 43 Mar 31 13:26 .Trash-99/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 42 Nov 22 2017 Backup/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 176 Feb 25 2019 Dani_Server/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 130 Oct 16 21:48 Dani_Backup/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 6 Apr 1 14:18 Share/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 40 Feb 2 16:04 VM_ISO/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 96 Jul 20 2015 WineBox/ drwxrwxrwx 1 1004 users 460 Mar 26 14:40 appdata/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 184 Jul 31 2017 dani_imac_backup/ -rw-rw-rw- 1 nobody users 53687091200 Oct 16 22:18 docker.img drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 0 Apr 1 12:27 domains/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 4096 Mar 11 15:05 nas/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 14 Oct 23 21:11 system/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 256 Jul 31 2017 time_machine/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 18 Feb 12 21:07 transcode/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 72 Jun 8 2015 vaio_backup/ drwxrwxrwx+ 1 nobody users 4 Oct 29 2016 video/ Output from ls -al /boot/config/shares total 76 drwx------ 2 root root 4096 Apr 1 14:43 ./ drwx------ 8 root root 4096 Apr 1 14:43 ../ -rw------- 1 root root 521 Oct 23 21:05 Backup.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Apr 1 14:40 Dani_Backup.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Apr 1 14:43 Dani_Server.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Mar 26 13:38 Share.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Oct 23 21:05 VM.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Apr 1 12:02 VM_ISO.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Oct 23 21:05 WineBox.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 523 Oct 23 21:55 appdata.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Apr 1 14:40 dani_imac_backup.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Oct 23 21:05 domains.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 129 Oct 23 21:05 isos.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Oct 23 21:05 nas.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Oct 23 21:05 system.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Apr 1 14:41 time_machine.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 525 Nov 3 14:16 transcode.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Apr 1 14:41 vaio_backup.cfg -rw------- 1 root root 521 Mar 7 18:09 video.cfg Can you help? 3. Thanks! Thanks. I'll update the Wiki when the preclear cycle finishes.
  4. I'm currently running 2x 3TB Red drives and a 3TB toshiba DT01ACA (7200rpm) parity. I did ok on Black Friday, grabbing a 5tb HGST NAS drive from frys ($100, score) and a Toshiba 5TB X300. Both 5tb drives are preclearing now; the HGST is running around 155 MBps and the X300 is at about 170. I'm torn as to which drive I should set as my new parity drive; I go back and forth on having the faster drive holding data for faster access and having faster parity performance (assuming that the speed of parity drive is the bottleneck in the array). I have an SSD cache, so it's mover speed that I'm considering, I guess. Any thoughts? Am I thinking too hard about this?
  5. As the title suggests, I have been seeing a lot of "unraid shfs/user: shfs_fallocate: fallocate: (95) Operation not supported" in my syslog of late. I saw https://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40793.0, so I can answer the original question - it doesn't seem like anything odd is going on. The dashboard is reporting no errors with any of my drives. Specs on my setup: Motherboard: MSI - H81I CPU: i5-4440S Memory: 16GB DDR3 Cache drive: 256gb SSD (btrfs) Parity drive: HGST 3TB 7200 rpm (reiserfs) Data: 2x 3TB WD RED (reiserfs) Installed plugins include: OpenVPN Client Community Applcations Dockers: gfjardmin's Transmission VM: Ubuntu 15.04 - all 4 cores, 2gb RAM to start, balloon to 6gb (I think), br0 Syslog attached - around 12 Sept 20:30 I started downloading a few torrents, so I am thinking there is a correlation, but I don't know enough to connect the dots past that. I ran the syslog at 20:47, so it looks like the errors have stopped/paused (or at least haven't occurred in five or so minutes). Thanks for the help! unraid-syslog-20150912-2047.zip
  6. Thanks - I think you were correct. It was the OpenVPN client, and it's apparently a known issue. Appreciate your help!
  7. Whoops, missed that, sorry! Attached here. Thanks. unraid-diagnostics-20150716-1500.zip
  8. OK, I think can add a little bit more information- When I go to Docker Settings, I only see the top section - the one where I can enable/disable and define the path for the docker image. Nothing below. The log has this error:
  9. Here is the log since I started the array- http://pastebin.com/7cZG44Yw
  10. I upgraded from 5.x using the instructions at the link you gave me - formatted the usb stick and installed anew. I should have been more clear - I upgraded from a beta 6.0 release to 6.0.1 using the "check for updates" function on the plugins page. I rebooted and when I brought the array back up, it hasn't started a parity check since - so knock on wood there. Still not sure what's going on with the dockers, but I'll keep poking around. Thanks for the help so far.
  11. If I did, it certainly wasn't intentional - wouldn't know how to if I tried. Is that something I can change in the GUI or do I need to do it via command line?
  12. Whoops, wrong support forum. I've requested this thread be moved.
  13. So, to preface this - I apologize, I am the very definition of an amateur hobbyist. My unraid box is very simple - MSI H81i motherboard, Core i5 4440s, 8gb RAM. 2X 3TB WB RED and a Toshiba 3TB 7200rpm parity drive. No cache drive. unRAID 6.0.1. Plugins are Community Repositories, openvpnclient, Webgui, and the unRAID OS. Everything is current (per the "update" button). My issues started when I updated to 6.0.1 the other day. It has been running parity checks back to back to back; it will complete one, and then restart. If I cancel one, it restarts. Additionally, maybe related (?) but my dockers are all MIA. Here is a pastebin of the server log since I rebooted yesterday during my own (ineffective) troubleshooting http://pastebin.com/TUiqvkwC Any thoughts? Thanks!
  14. Hi, first post, lurker, etc. I put together my unRAID server a couple of weeks ago, and for most of that time, I've been having an annoying issue with unmenu. With some frequency (every 3-5 clicks, sometimes more frequent), unmenu tells me it can't find favicon.ico - usually reloading the page works fine. Any thoughts?
