Alternatively, does anyone have any ideas on how I get to fit the new version of unraid on my old 514 MB key? I tried copying the files across but it says I don't have enough space. The other problem I have is that I moved my subscription from the old key to the new one. Which doesn't boot.

Those diagnostics and your screenshot seem to indicate it is mounting the correct flash partition /sdb1 at /boot, and that is where it is getting the license key. But it is still unclear (to me at least) which flash it is actually booting from. I assume it is booting from the old flash. Those diagnostics don't show /sda1 mounted unlike your screenshot. Presumably you mounted it manually in UD earlier.
I would agree with you that is booting with the old flash. When I upgraded the new key, it stopped booting half way with a number of error messages. I really want to fix this setup so I only have a key, or I would even be happy with booting from one of the disks?
I am having some weird issues with the bios as well, when I change anything and save the bios, it restarts but I don't get so see the bootup screen, stays blank for ages. The only way to get to the bootup screen is to turn off at the mains, then choose last succesful boot (F12) and it then it boots succesfully -

But was it an actual unclean shutdown, or did it just think so because of this?
Did you in fact power off or reboot manually instead of doing it through the webUI?
Reboot it manually, as it started extracting bizroot and I wanted to swap the keys.

Copied the pro key across, that worked, after restarting the server with CTRL ALT DEL a parity check started (I stopped it). I didnt initialise the check last time either, but I am guessing that it has to do with an unclean shutdown.
Diagnostics attached.

received an email warning
error: stat of /var/log/nginx/*.log failed: No such file or directory
Restoring the key backup on the new key, and booting again. Copied the key contents over to another PC so if there is anything I should grab from there, I can do that.

Upgraded the OS to the new version. Bad idea. Now the server won't start. I am guessing that the fact that the boot process happens on the old version of the key means this is not an option.

Once parity check is complete, I will check my settings against these

Nothing new there. My settings were in line. Only key visible in the hard disk selection remains the old USB key

I have not changed the old key after backing it up and creating the new key by restoring the backup filesThis sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Is there still a filesystem on the original that Unraid might mount?

Put the old key back at the top of the boot list, left the new key in as well, server started, and I updated the key licence for the new key. Server is now up and running, with two keys in. It's a hack, but I got my server back up and running.
-
So I moved the key back to the top of the booting order, and low and behold after booting unraid has seen one of the other keys, and used that as flash. I went through the email process to renew the key, got an email but the key did not update, got an error.
Removed the old key, and it's still not booting from the new key.Server is now unusable

They do appear during boot, but when I'm looking at the boot sequence in the bios only the old one shows. When using legacy boot flash drive should still appear on the bios (hard drives or somewhere else depending on the board) even if empty.

Anyone on this thread?"Version 3.5.3.0
A new version of Emby Server is available!
Version 4.3.0.30 is now available for download.
Please shutdown Emby Server and install the latest version."
How do I install the latest version?
And how do I backup the current installation so I can restore it if anything goes wrong?

The only things that remain from that rig were the case, which I bought in 2006, and the flash key!
I upgraded all of the hard disks (they were 500Gb ones, had 15 at one point. Now I am down to 10 disks+ parity, and when I run out of space I upgrade the parity (12TB hard disk waiting to pop in this weekend, replacing one of the smaller 2TB)
MB, processor, memory, power supply also were upgraded bit by bit, so were the expansion card cards, and the hotswaps (Norco SS500)
some pics in this thread...

514Mb. Got my first unraid key and server when unraid launched.
-
There is not enough space in the flash, I need an additional 116 MB...
Time to buy a new flash key. Any recommendations on a key that works with UnRaid?

In the unraid GUI, Tools > Update OS. Click "Check for updates". Change "Branch" dropdown to "Next".
If I do that, the only option is to install. I can see that it tried to download and install the following file (and fails)
https://s3.amazonaws.com/dnld.lime-technology.com/next/unRAIDServer-6.8.0-rc7-x86_64.zip
Is that the only file?

It should, but honestly at this point I'd wait out 6.8 release or run an RC. The RC's are 99% there, and frankly you would be better off with 6.8.0 rc7 than with 6.7.2, for a multitude of reasons.
Ok, I will back up the key and give it a try, where do I find the zip for the rc7?

Running Embyserver docker on the unraid server. When I use the webui, it reports to be version 3.5.3.0.
How do I update it to the latest version without losing watched items, library locations, settings etc?
Unraid OS version 6.7.2 available

I just emailed support to see if I can have it un-blacklisted.
