I have parity drive with RED X, is my drive failing? I ran preclear and it passed with one UDMA error. Do I need to replace my parity drive? Please see attached drive info. Hi trurl, Yes my server is running now. Today just found out that for some reason my server stop itself again. I attached diagnostic log and the v5 capture log. Envoke tailing syslog until it happen again. Thank you so much Trurl for trying to solve my issue. @ trurl , Thank you for looking at my problem. Unfortunately I cannot ping the server. My server is headless but when I put keyboard and monitor - it's unresponsive. I was forced to hold the power to shut it down. Apologized I forgot to mentioned that the syslog attached was the first boot after the incident (Tools>System log). I got the diagnostic zip attached. Not sure if there's anything that you can find. Trurl, do you think my setup (system) have hardware problem? NOTE: I forgot to check the time and date of my server. Just chaged it. Thank you. Help please! I get this email from my server about this error mesage "Console and WebGui login account" I am not able to access WebGui and I cannot connect to my UnRaid using WinSCP. I did try searching emhttp but most of it are been solve by the update. I did look at my log but I don't understand what it means. Can someone please me out! Can anyone please have a look at my syslog my server keeps crashing when I'm copying files. When my server crashes unraid-GUI is still active but samba share is lost and I cannot restart samba even thru unmenu. If I stop the server one of the disk my case is usually disk 6 that cannot be unmounted. I had to force shutdown my server and the server will do parity check when I turn it back on. Help please... Thanks.

I am running this version but I have problem copying 4.37GB from my disk5 to disk6 using MC but then I got error my server crapping out. I tried to do it few times but no luck I have to "hard-power off" my server (pressing the power button for few secs). After that my server will check for parity everytime. I've done it with fresh "go script" or with modified that I created, no luck. Attached is my syslog. I am not sure why my server always crashes when I am copying files. Any help please. I agree little head room for future needs. I own 330 for about a week now. I installed XBMC live on entire hard disk as I dont plan running something else. I have 3 story house and don't have cat5/6 running and don't want to use wireless-N a lot of people saying its not reliable anyway. I have FIOS and my router is MOCA enabled so I did buy MOCA adapter it run thru coax. In MOCA should be able to handle up to 270Mbps. All my 720P videos are fine but 1080P video stutter if bitrate does above 13MBps. I have not tried it yet on my gigabit connection as I use this to stream movies to my bedroom.

XBMC Live can use ssh or you can use WinSCP for ftp feel.

Thanks Joe L. for doing that. Apologize fro my late response. I been doing a backup and cannot shutdown my server. I did the poweroff and again my server restart after shutting down. (it did the same thing DEBUG=1 /sbin/powerdown) I did more investigation on my setup and the only thing I am playing with is S3 but I cannot get it right it's hit or miss on my system. I disable that script BUT I forgot to disable a "wake-up daily @ 6:00 A" on my BIOS setting. After disabling that settings on my BIOS everything is back to normal. Its kind of weird! Now my question is - is that normal? I mean when you have a BIOS setting to have your PC wake-up on a certain time but your pc don't shutdown, then the next time you turn off your pc/server it will just reboot itself? Hmmmm! It's good test for people that has same setup as mine "pc waking-up daily" and you miss to shut your pc/server down for a day. Thanks Joe L. Cheers,

@ Starcat; That's what I did on mine and works perfectly until I install 4.5.

I have 4.5 Final but powerdown script seems not working for me anymore. I upgraded from 4.4.2 to 4.5 final. My server keeps rebooting instead of shutting it down. It does the same even if I use the normal shutdown or force shutdown on unmenu. I am also using cache_dirs, apcupsd, etc.. Can anyone help me? I want powerdown script to work the way it should be specially when APC calls for it. Thanks!

No idea for that, because I have no PS3. You might try searching the keywords "PS3" and "WakeOnLAN"/MagicPacket. If the PS3 is not capable of sending a Magicpacket and you have another machine running 24/7, you might run a monitoring script there to check is PS3 started and send Magicpacket to Unraid server in that case. Could also be running e.g. on your DSL-router - I know that AVM boxes are running minilinux on them and are capable to send WoL-Packets. Good luck! Thanks for the Tip!
