Still not sure why it won't see that drive under 4.7 when it does under 4.3.3?

I am in the process of updating from my original 4.3.3 Pro so I can add more than 15 drives. I bought another key and thumb drive and was told to do a 4.7 Pro before going to the 5. When I bring the system up on the old 4.3.3 stick all 15 drives plus the parity come up without any issues. However, when I bring it up with the in between step of 4.7 it sees the 15 drives but does not see the Parity drive. I assigned all the normal drives but the parity is unassigned because the drive is not being recognized. When I then bring it back up on the old 4.3.3, the parity drive is there again. What am I missing?

If something is an issue, can I not just reboot from my original 4.3.3 flash. I have purchased a new flash drive and am attempting to purchase the second registration key with that special. I am the point of having formatted, named and installed the 5.05 on this new flash and ready to boot up on that new flash to get the GUID so I can purchase. If I just boot on the new flash with 5.05 to get the GUID but don't mess with the array, will I still risk loss. Most is backed up but the reason for the array and parity is to not have to find some way to have 15TB worth of drives for backup.

Can I go straight from 4.3.3 to the 5.0.5?

Is there any way other than the default email support@ address? I sent the original question there but have not heard back.

What I really want is a new flash drive with the key already on it. Is that what the $30 deal is, or is that key only. My original was flash drive with key from Tom.

I currently have Pro version 4.3.3 with 15 drives plus parity for our home family media server. I want to add an additional drive and was told maybe a year or so ago I had to download and upgrade to some newer version of 4. I am concerned about being down so I first copied the thumb drive to another and tried to boot off of it, so I would not mess with the original. But that did not work. I thinking about just buying the update on stick so if I run into any issues, I can simple put the original stick back in and reboot. SO my question, is where do I find a list of what are the new features and is 5 or 6 the latest? Is it literally just a plug in the new stick and boot, then add the 15 drive and parity back to the devices. Or is this a major thing? Advise please.
