I've never used vprj so I can't help with the exact command(s) you'll need to use for comskip.
I actually have a comskip.ini from a windows client that does exactly what I want so I have what I need. I guess I will try to give it a spin. Does the docker base you mentioned also monitor a directory for new files?
-
Referring to the auto-comskip. Is there any way to get it to only detect commercials and output a vprj file to a specific location?

And its been up for 22 hours after the power supply change so that was hopefully it, thanks!

It really seems like Unraid is being rebooted when I attempt to access the GUI over the network after its been brought up and logged into.
I just changed the Power Supply Idle control from Auto to Typical Current Idle and booted it back up and am now letting it sit.
-
I updated the bios and disabled C-states and made the zenstate change to the go script. I will power down later and look for the typical current idle setting in the bios.
Thanks!

I havent dont anything other than assemble the hardware and see if it would start then was surprised when it rebooted on its own. It rebooted again a few hours ago. so I will hop into the bios and poke around. Is there a chart about what to disable on a Ryzen 1600?

I just finished installing new hardware (AMD Ryzen 1600) coming frotower-diagnostics-20191231-1701.zipm an old Xeon when I received the Hardware check events errors. I have attached my diagnostics logs. The only MCE section I could find is:

I just realized that its only partially working on 6.5.3 for me. I have one share with a recycle bin directory but none of my others have one even though I just deleted directories off of them. The plugin screen is only showing the user share with the directory present. All files/directories were deleted via a windows box, the ones in the missing share was done through explorer by hitting Delete the ones in the other share which is present were deleted via a program that cuts commercials out of shows then is set to delete the original source when finished.

I added the inotify-command docker and set the host path to point at the directory I want to monitor. The docker never starts and nothing is showing up in the sytem log to explain why. I didnt modify either Key 1 or Key 2.
Edit: And Im an idiot, RTFM. I thought I had to get it up and running so I could access its console to modify sample.conf, nope. I have it up and running but now need to install comskip. Any chance of cloning this into a repo that automatically installs comskip?
-
I guess if I have access to the command line I could install comskip myself then set it up to monitor a directory and run a script if an item is detected.
-
Do you have a way to add in something like comskip to your docker such that I could have the docker monitoring for files appearing in a directory and automatically start comskip?
-
Has anybody figured out a way to get Plex to run comskip through a postprocessing script so that it leaves the xml/vprj file? Ive been trying to run "Plex Commericial Skipper" by hand but it keeps giving me an error with the video codec on the .ts files.

is anyone else having problems with file permissions with this docker? When I try to delete or move completed files in windows, I can't until I run the docker safe permission tool
I havent had these issues.

Has anyone been able to get a proxy server to work with this? Im trying to get my torguard proxy working which works with the windows version of qtorrent but the test torrent is never seen hitting torguards server.
Edit: I ended up working with torguard and for some reason creating a random login made it work.

The RecycleBin at /mnt/ is a directory of symlinks to the .Recycle.Bin shares so it can be browsed by the built in file browser at /mnt/. It updates every second to keep current with the .Recycle.Bin share directories. FCP should ignore this directory.
Great, thanks. I will tell FCP to ignore the error.

Why is there now a RecycleBin directory in /mnt? I woke up this morning to Fix Common Problems complaining that there is now "Invalid folder RecycleBin contained within /mnt". It has a modified date/time that keeps updating and I assume that it was created by this plugin although its user/group is root/root.

Im using version 2.1.0 and I just lost a directory of a show:
MOVE: rsync -avPRX "TVShows/Cosmos A SPACETIME ODYSSEY" "/mnt/disk1/"
Ended up with a single file called "Cosmos A SPACETIME ODYSSEY" sitting on disk1 instead of the directory of the show.
It seems strange that rsync would do something like that.
In the log, the calculation phase will have listed all the files in the "Cosmos ..." folder.
Can you check it or send it over to check ?
This is everything in the log with "Cosmos" in the name.

All I meant was to hook the fan up to an existing IDE power plug thus having it constantly powered. The Antec TrueQuiet can be switched to low speed mode which is almost entirely silent.
And I just realized that I pulled the wrong motherboard box out for this whole thing. My NAS is actually using a Gigabyte H81M-H ver1.1 so now I need to track down info for whether the system fan will work with unraid.
-
It looks like not even speedfan running in windows has any option to control the fans on my motherboard. My "best" option is probably just to hook my case fans up to 4pin power and have them running constantly. Not exactly what I wanted but its what Im probably going to need to do to keep my disks from going to a critical temp.
I'm not completely sure what you meant by '4 pin power'. You may already know this stuff, but I just found a great tutorial on the differences between 2 pin, 3 pin, and 4 pin fans -> here

My motherboard is at least a few years old so shouldnt even an older version of the script have its driver if it exists?

Have you tried installing the latest available sensors-detect script?Has anybody had any luck getting auto fan to work with a Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 motherboard? Im showing "None" in the PWM controller dropdown.
YesI do have the latest sensors-detect script from just installing it with the dynamix system temp plugin. The system temp can detect the core temps along with the system temp. Ive tried disabling/enabling the auto fan plugin but its still not seeing anything.
The only module being loaded by lm_sensors is coretemp.
HWMON_MODULES="coretemp"

Ok. I might just have to look at building up a full docker with folder monitoring to do all of this automatically like the auto-comskip did but without the commercial cutting included.
