  1. Hello, I recently upgraded to v6 beta10a. I have a share that I have configured as private, does not use cache, and has only 1 enabled user. I connected to the share using the credentials for the user, created a folder and a file. I am concerned that the permissions on this file do not match what I think I should be expecting - but I'm not sure because I hadn't looked at this closely until now. The folder was created and owned by my user and group "users" but has permissions 777 ... I think the user and group ownership are what I would expect but the folder permissions I would have expected something more like 770. My understanding of this is not the greatest so my question is: what am I missing? The file inside that folder was correctly owner by the user and group but the permissions are showing as 666. I would've expected something more like 660. Same question as before, what am I missing? Thanks for helping me make sense of this!! Cole
  2. I have this same problem. Converted cache to BTRFS after updating from 5.x to b10a (I get that this is a Beta 6 thread) . Most of the documentation seems to be in the forums for b6 so I apologize if this is out of place. My cache drive is terribly slow after the conversion. I notice it mostly in my docker apps that are writing to the cache disk. Doesn't seem like I need to have it btrfs anymore so I am converting back to Reiser. I am very excited about the direction I see v6 moving. Docker + KVM is exactly what I have been waiting for. I have no idea how to troubleshoot the performance issue on the SSD cache disk or what information that would be helpful but I am happy to do some digging if someone were to guide me.
