  1. My server had safely shut itself down due to a power outage (UPS). Once I turned it back on, I seemed to have lost my Unassigned Device share in Windows file explorer. I have the share button turned on and can see the UD SSD and all the files contained in it in Krusader.

My server has been running pretty flawlessly for a couple of years so I have lost some of technical knowledge of unraid.

    Please help. Thank you friends

  2. Sorry for the late reply, with everything going on I really didnt want to deal with this issue until recently.

But I want to thank you very much for recommending UFS Explorer. It was able to read and recover the files off of the "bad" drive.

  3. HI all, so i think I goofed up a storage drive. I came home really tired and half asleep and when I logged into my server webgui, I said that one of my disks had become unmountable. Of course I wasnt thinking straight and accidently formatted the disk. I realized what I had done right away and once it had finished I immediatley shut down the server.

So I wasnt able to find a topic that would help me, so the question is, is it possible to rebuild the data on the drive or on a new drive, or did I mess this up?

I have a dual parity machine.

    Thank You

  4. I recently transferred my unraid server into another case. After doing so, I was having trouble starting the tautulli docker. after uninstalling, I couldnt edit my existing dockers, reinstall tautulli,  or install any dockers at all. It seemed that the dockerman/tautulli.xml file in the usb boot drive was corrupt and deleting it seemed to fix my issues. But now, after reinstalling the tautulli docker, I am unable to get the app to communicate with my plex server. all the settings look correct, but there are errors and warnings in the logs. Looking to see if someone could help me. would a text file of the logs help out?

  5. I was on unifi controller version 5.7.20 on another PC. I installed the unifi docker for unraid and tried to use the backup file, but stated that the file was for a newer version of unifi and wouldnt be able to use it. What version of the controller is the docker app at? hoping to downgrade the previous controller and re download the backup file.

  6. I fixed it. I shut down the server, put the usb back into my computer, and deleted the tautulli.xml file under the dockerman folder. now i am able to edit and install dockers again.

    Thanks for your help Squid.

  7. I have tried this using the community applications app and trying to manually add a container, and I get the same message. I used krusader to delete the Tautulli files in my appdata folder just to make sure.

my plex and krusader dockers are still currently w
    orking though.

  8. I recently transferred my unraid server into a new case. After i did and restarted the server, I was unable to restart the Plexpy docker (now called tautulii), and received the message below. I deleted it and tried to reinstall the docker, but still got the same message and the same for any other docker i try to install. What does this mean and how can i resolve this? any help will be appreciated.

    Thank You.

  9. Hello, I have been using unraid for about 2 years now. I have been the only one needing to access all shares on my network, so i have never needed to create any user profiles (only login as "root") or needed to set the security of any share to anything but public.

I am building an unraid server for my buddy and his family and he will need to create different users and set certain shares to private. I am testing this on my server first, and have created a test profile called "liz" with password set to "password", and have created a share called "Liz Folder" with security set to private.

My issue is when I try to access the Liz Folder, I get a prompt from windows (win10) for credentials. When i enter "liz" and "password" i am still denied access to the folder. What am i missing here to get access to the folder?

    Thank you.

  10. Hello,

came home late today and had a notification that unraid had done a parity check even though today was not a scheduled parity check day. Then I realized that the unraid theme was white, instead of black as i have had for quite some time. Then I realized i couldnt change the theme back, or any other setting. Also, looks like dockers are disabled, even tho my Plex docker seems to working fine. Here is a pic of what "Fix Common Problems" shows me. I also downloaded the diagnostic files and will do a reset soon. I am running unraid 6.3.5. Could someone with more technical ability to read this let me know what has happened? Thank You!

  11. Hi all,

Sorry for not responding back for some time, I travel alot for work purposes. Just so happens that my unraid server did the exact same thing again last nite, while away this time. I was able to VPN to my home network. I downloaded the diagnostics before rebooting the system, everything came back. I have not made any changes to my server for quite some time. Here is the zip file. Please let me know what it could be. I really appreciate all the help.

    Thanks.

  12. I woke up this morning and realized that my Plex had stopped itself. When i checked on unraid, all my shares had disappeared! Scared the heck out of me. I could see that all my files were still on the disks. I rebooted unraid and everything came back. I am uploading the Diagnostics file, could someone help me decipher this and let me know what happened? this has never happened before. Thanks.
