  1. Ah thanks for the info Methanoid, that makes sense
  2. Can anyone recommend a PCI-E USB 3.0 card that works? I purchased https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07FK28BXX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 to test based on one of the reviews mentions works in unRAID, but no joy for me, detected in unRAID, VM doesn't start though, just hangs at OVMF Tianocore boot screen... Cheers, Andrew.
  3. Thanks Johnnie, should also add I went from 6.3.5 on the previous motherboard to 6.4.0-rc9f. New config, is that just for the drives or does that wipe all unRAID settings too? Cheers, Andrew.
  4. Hi all, Just a quick one to double check before I start my array on a new motherboard, migrated 3 existing hard drives (2 x data, 1 x parity) to a new motherboard. The 2 data disks mount and work ok, but the parity disk is showing as "ALL DATA ON THIS DISK WILL BE ERASED WHEN ARRAY IS STARTED" beside the drive and also "Start will start Parity-Sync and/or Data-Rebuild." beside Start: Am I ok to start the array and not lose any data on the data drives? Cheers, Andrew.
  5. Has anyone managed to get IGD passthrough working with a Windows VM? I'm using IGD passthrough successfully with a linux VM (i440fx-2.7 and OVMF), but no joy so far with Windows. CPU is Ivy Bridge which might be the issue (Intel Core i5-3570), but works great for linux so far. (Apologies if there's a new thread for this by the way.)
  6. Excellent work on this plugin, works a treat
  7. Hi all, Just thought I'd post this to check if anyone has seen this behaviour or knows how to fix this one. Have a Windows 10 VM setup and everything running well, until I restart the VM and the VGA output from the passthrough graphics cards (Nvidia GT 430) doesn't return/work after the VM has restarted. If I turn off VGA passthrough and restart the VM instead of a VNC session it restarts fine. The only way to recover the VM is the fully restart the host machine running unRAID, and then the VM boots fine after that. Settings: - unRAID: 6.2 Beta 21. (Behaviour the same in 6.1.9 also) - BIOS: SeaBIOS. (OVMF doesn't work with this graphics card) - Hyper-V: No. - VirtIO v0.1.109 (Tried 112 and 117, no difference). Any advice welcome Thanks, Andrew.
