  1. So does this take the encoding work off your main PC or does this just act as a pass through streaming server so you can hit multiple streaming sites at once? Stupid question as I believe it does not, but wanted to be sure.
  2. All, I have been working to finish setup of 2 UnRaid systems. I will describe the systems below and then go into my issues for getting 10 GbE Networking working connecting my UnRaid "Gaming Focused Rig" VM's and my separate UnRaid NAS system. I have setup 2 x 10 GbE Mellanox cards in my UnRaid NAS System and also 2 x 10 GbE Mellanox cards in my Gaming focused Rig. I have successfully added the 10 GbE connection to one of my VM's on my Gaming rig. I am trying to connect this system over the 10 GbE card directly to my NAS. I followed SpaceInvaders tutorial on how to setup the 10 GbE connection and I had this working on my old standalone rigs so I know the hardware at least works. I think my issue is the settings I am using on the network cards passing to the VM's. Network settings are below! ipconfig for gaming VM #1: C:\Windows\system32>ipconfig /all Windows IP Configuration Host Name . . . . . . . . . . . . : DESKTOP-3SOFMG7 Primary Dns Suffix . . . . . . . : Node Type . . . . . . . . . . . . : Hybrid IP Routing Enabled. . . . . . . . : No WINS Proxy Enabled. . . . . . . . : No Ethernet adapter Ethernet: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Red Hat VirtIO Ethernet Adapter Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 52-54-00-8C-9B-29 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::d83d:d059:280e:ccf6%8(Preferred) IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.9(Preferred) Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Lease Obtained. . . . . . . . . . : Saturday, January 18, 2020 11:29:17 AM Lease Expires . . . . . . . . . . : Sunday, January 19, 2020 12:24:19 PM Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DHCP Server . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 DHCPv6 IAID . . . . . . . . . . . : 106058752 DHCPv6 Client DUID. . . . . . . . : 00-01-00-01-25-AE-97-48-52-54-00-8C-9B-29 DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1 NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled Ethernet adapter Ethernet 3: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Red Hat VirtIO Ethernet Adapter #2 Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 52-54-00-67-D0-67 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.11.197(Preferred) Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled Ethernet adapter Ethernet 2: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Private Internet Access Network Adapter Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 00-FF-F2-FD-F8-99 DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes Ethernet adapter Bluetooth Network Connection: Media State . . . . . . . . . . . : Media disconnected Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Bluetooth Device (Personal Area Network) Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : 5C-F3-70-99-BC-6C DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : Yes Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes ___________________________________________________ Ethernet adapter Ethernet 3 is the 10 GbE card in question. I set the IP to 192.168.11.197 just as SpaceInvader showed and exactly what I used to have on my standalone rig. Picture is attached of my network settings in UnRaid for both systems (Gaming focused and NAS). Let me know if you have any ideas what I might be doing wrong :P! https://imgur.com/a/CvDOEjc
  3. I appear to be having similar issues. I can play portal 2 just fine, but as soon as I try and run a game that is super CPU intensive either of my VM's will have large amounts of game lag or stuttering even though my FPS count stays very high throughout. I opened a ticket with limetech and they are looking into it. Have included what I sent to them below. Have tried battlefront on both pc's and am usually running >60 fps on lesser machine and >100fps on my personal VM. Lag Example: Case Labs Magnum M8 with pedestal ASUS Rampage Extreme V X99 2011-3 Intel Xeon 2697 V3 14 Core / 28 Thread CPU 32 GB Kingston 2133 mhz ECC DDR4 1 x EVGA 980 Ti Classified, 1x ASUS Strix GTX 970, AMD 240 (for vga output) NZXT Kraken x60 280mm Rad 1000 W EVGA Supernova G2 SSD: 3 X Crucial 500 GB SSD's, 2 x Samsung 250 GB Evo SSD's, 1 x 500 GB Mushkin SSD HDD: 1 x 3 TB Toshiba (parity disk) , 1 X 2 TB Seagate coletower-diagnostics-20160303-0745.zip coletower-syslog-20160303-2338.zip Devices.txt
