  1. I've had Unraid since back in 2016 and mainly run it monthly to backup my network files and such. Back when I first setup Unraid, I had a program installed where I could rename TV shows I had on my drives. Such as the Stargate series. I would put them in a directory, and in the app or docker (not sure which one) enter the same directory and then run it. It would search some database, perhaps IMDB and rename all of the files with the names of each episodes like Stargate SG-1 - S01E01-E02 - Children of the Gods I can't seem to find the program anymore so I'm guessing its been depreciated or retired or something. Is there another program which can do the same, but something not too difficult to use. Thanks in advance.
  2. You could try the free version of syncback, the non pro version. I'm not sure if there are size limitations or advertising. There are also a ton of other syncing software programs out there. Try before you buy! Another thought is to break up your data in chunks and see if windows explorer works better that way.
  3. Forgot to add, turn off any anti-virus software during the transfer and see if that works any better. Unfortunately just dragging and dropping via Windows Explorer, I feel that moving a large amount of data isn't a good solution for the same reason you mention.
  4. How are you moving the files over to your unraid box? When you say it worked from an external USB to pc, do you mean an external drive to your windows pc or from an external drive hooked up to your windows pc TO the unraid box? Is is freezing at the same folder/files? I'm new to unraid, but I recently moved 12TB of data over via Syncbackpro and while it took a LONG time, I didn't have any issues. The nice thing of using a program like I did, is if there are any halts or freezes, the program should continue where it left off. All sync type programs should do the same.
  5. First I'm new to Unraid, less than a week, and new to unix commands. Anyway, I have filebot running in docker and for some reason it returns a failure. I have a share called movies and i created an input folder and an output folder. !in and !out. I then removed the ! because I figured that might be a restricted character. Either way it doesn't seem to process the files. So, I took an unused disk, disk4. Created a share called in and a share called out and only had the shares mounted on disk 4. Seems to work that way but I don't want to do a lot of file copying from one share to another. Also, in the configuration area I put all 4 of my disks into the settings for the input. /input with the path /mnt/disk1/movies/in/ then another /input with the path /mnt/disk2/movies/in/ etc.... Do I need the input spanning all of the drives that the files are situated in? So, it appears it only works in shares, not folders. Any suggestions I can try? ok, I think I figured it out by not using (disks) and using /mnt/usr/pathname
  6. I too am looking for an internal program to sync files from my primary storage (Drobo 5n) to a Unraid storage area. I don't want a program running on a 3rd machine (Win10 pc) to manage the synchronization. I just setup unraid with a test key but I plan on purchasing it very soon.
