  1. Bump for this thread I have the Sandisk's flavor of the FusionIO drive, SX350 SSD (SDFADCMOS-6T40-SF1 6.4TB) Its a 6.4TB drive that has great cost per GB, and performance is 2755/2194 MB/s its pretty good 6TB drive I've picked up a few for $250 each They work great on everything except UNRAID as a Drive that UNRAID can use. The fun thing is UNRAID sees the PCI device in System Devices as "[1aed:3001] 04:00.0 Mass storage controller: SanDisk ioMemory FHHL" In UNRAID I can pass it through as a PCI device to a VM (TrueNAS, Windows, ESXI, RHEL) install the drivers from Lenovo's site and the drive works. https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/search?query=Fusion ioMemory SX300 %2F SX350 PCIe SSD Driver&SearchType=Customer search&searchLocation=Masthead So I was hoping that since even Windows 11 works with these drives that it would be really great if the drivers could be added to UNRAID so I can free up some drive bays in my Supermicro system we can use them on our favorite home media server hypervisor. While I could just run an WHOLE VM just to host the drive as a network share. It would be nice to not have to do that. Appreciate it. Also side note, I was wondering is there was anyway to like crowd fund/donate for specific features to be added? Cuz I'de be willing to throw $100 into a pot to help facilitate adding this software for this hardware into UNRAID. I've had my Pro license for like 7 years and no complaints so I don't mind throwing some cash at this so that us weirdos with weird enterprise hardware can have more hardware support. Thanks.
  2. Hello, I am trying to figure out if it is possible for unRaid use a PCIe Enterprise SSD - SANDISK SX350 SSD (SDFADCMOS-6T40-SF1 6.4TB) I have tested it in an Windows Server Data Center 2019 system and it works just fine as a Disk in that systems but it seems that UNRAID doesn't know what to do with it. It shows up in PCI Devices and IOMMU Groups as: [1aed:3001] 04:00.0 Mass storage controller: SanDisk ioMemory FHHL and I can pass it through to a VM but I don't want to use it that way. My goal is to make it my Cache drive for unRaid so I can free up SAS bays to increase my ZFS pool. unRaid Version: 6.12.4 I tried to search this topic (google, unRaid forum, reddit, etc) but I have not found anything and I am probably just not using the correct vernacular or it the fact that very few people have this piece of hardware so I'm sure its just super niche. Maybe there is a way to manually install the driver into unRaid that I am oblivious to? I have the Linux drivers for it.
  3. I will post Diag log tomorrow if that will help. Looks like my network office was ransomware attacked, one of my hyperV machines was completely unusable and covered with ransomware. Strange thing was the only thing that was on that hyperV was outlook managing the email accounts rules no one accesses it. It looks like all the data that was on a non-password share is gone. I'm going to have to connect the SAS array to a Windows Server environment and run a deleted files recovery utility. Any suggestion on a good recovery utility for the UNRAID file system? I imaged the USB and attempted a recovery with no luck, the USB tested fine but there was no recoverable data on it. I built a new UNRAID boot USB using the UNRAID utility. I am not 100% positive on the order the HDD's were in on UNRAID previously. I put them in order based on their bay location in the array since it is numbered. I am 100% positive on the Parity Drive serial number and location it is physically marked in my array and I took note of the serial number.
  4. Hello I need advise/pointed in the right direction. My Boot USB has Zero Data on it and my unraid was locked up. Rebooted, to unable to boot message Created a new USB with the same Unraid 6.7.2 version All my drive disks show up and all have healthy smart readings, I have not done a parity check yet (for fear there maybe no turning back). I have a 13 - 1TB Drive array plus a 1TB parity, I know which is my parity drive. My drives when mounted in UNRAID show less data than they should I'm missing about 3 TB of data out of 7TB of Data I know I had, the orriginal share names show up but some have zero data in them and the data bars on the dashboard are all over the place. What should I do, I'm really stressed out about it and may be missing crucial steps.
